Some well summarised thoughts I'd have appreciated when younger
I think this is a great book for young teenagers starting to find their way in the world, it has a lot of good advice for gaining confidence and learning from failure.I liked the way the book has a sprinkling of real world examples from sportspeople and from Clare's life.Would happily recommend for teenagers or even adults who don't mind a bit of an easy read to regain some confidence, I found it useful when going through a tough time.

Great book for little and big kids!
Bought this for my daughter after she suffered a bad fall from her pony and who sometimes struggles with shyness. It’s only arrived today so she hasn’t seen it yet, but I’ve been reading today and I think it fantastic and I know all my children will find it inspirational. We are all wonderful but sometimes it’s easy to forget, to look for strength within. Take the time to read it together, you won’t be disappointed!

A positive and energetic read.
I bought this book for my Yr7 students and would recommend as a confidence tool kit. This is a positive book which can be read in chunks. The illustrations bring Clare Balding’s inspiring words and stories to life. Reference to animals, and successful sports men and women help to get the key messages across.

Finally found a book he loves
Absolutely fantastic, the first time I have seen my son enjoy a book. When reading he finds it so hard to stay engaged however this book from the first line has had him hooked. He loves the way the text is split so not overwhelming him, it’s an absolute thumbs up from us please write something similar again
