This one worked perfectly with my ASUS laptop after trying and returning the StarTech one that I ordered. That one didn't work even after I followed their instructions and downloaded software. This Wavlink comes with instructions to go to their website, download a zip file, plug it in and it worked. I'll attach the picture I took to show my son. Notice that this is extended (iconson the main screen to the right), not just dual screens as a lot of these can only deliver dual.

Thank goodness for this sleek little box. It has answered all of my prayers. I was having extreme difficulty connecting my two additional monitors to my little laptop. I only had one HDMI and I was not sure which avenue to take. After some serious searching and several trips to BestBuy I decided to go this route. I was able to quickly attach the HDMI cables from the monitors and plug the USB into my laptop. After updating my drivers- It connected automatically. I had three displays in my settings and could configure how I needed. I was also able to extend the screen display so my two-monitor act as one giant one really making my life easier. I am also able to close my laptop and just work on the external monitors. Thank you so much!! The clarity is great and there is no relay time delay. Thanks again. I hope others find this product as great as I do!

Did not install this unit. It was my second choice if the first one did not work. First choice is in operation and working fine. I did receive this unit in a very timely manner.

Easy and works!

Works great. Make sure your main board has on board graphics. Won't work otherwise.

My Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 has 1 HDMI port, one USB C port that is not a thunderbolt. No built-in way to connect 2 external displays. I connected this converter to my USB-C port, HDMI cable from it to my second monitor, and it just worked ! I now have 2 external monitors working great. I didn't do anything with drivers or settings. How often does that happen?! Very happy. Note I don't game or anything, and I have not tested it to see if I could do 3 monitors.

I had purchased two other HDMI adapters for my MacBook Pro that didn't work. The drivers I installed didn't work. The monitor was not recognizing the other adapters. The first adapter was a cheap crap one and had poor installation directions. The second adapter was from a legit brand/maker, but it still did not work. So, with frustration, I looked for another adapter for the third time. I came across this Wavlink adapter and it was also on sale, so I figured I would give it a shot.Honestly, the timing could not have been better since this adapter was not on sale the first time I came across it (which is why I bought the other adapters), but now was able to buy this adapter at a 44% discount thanks to the other two adapters not working and me searching Amazon again and coming across this Wavlink adapter again.The installation was very easy. The website looked professional (which I can't say that for the first adapter's website) . Installing the driver was very easy. I plugged the adapter into my Macbook and attached the HDMI cable to the 2k port of the adapter and "presto" it worked !!! I am very happy I finally found an adapter that works with my MacBook Pro mid-2012 running OS Catalina (10.15).
