Wanted daughter to experience same as when I was younger! Very fun and everything included!

This was a gift for a fourth grade niece. She absolutely loved it. She had no experience with latch hook kits and she caught on quickly. It was a "cool" enough design to not feel babyish.

My child loved this gift, and brought back many memories of creating these during my childhood.

This PlayMonster LATCHKITS Pineapple Crafts, Multi comes with the canvas grid, yarn, latch hook, and instructions. I love that the canvas grid already has finished edges, since most kits don't come with finishing material.This small size makes the rug perfect for beginners, since it is a much shorter project. It is still large enough to take several hours and provide plenty of entertainment. I find it very meditative. The pre-printed colors on the canvas grid are easy to read. There's even plenty of contrast between the pinks.My latch hook did come with a small flaw in the plastic, right where I rest my finger. Luckily, I had a second latch hook that I could use instead.I think this is a very nice craft kit, and the resulting rug is cute. It would make a good gift.
