Pros: Goes up, goes down, holds a laptop or a projector reasonably well, mousepad shelf and phone holder also work reasonably well. Feels sturdy once fully set up and adjusted.Cons: Disconnecting the shelf for transport is time consuming. It's finicky to adjust correctly and feels cheap. The crank mechanism in particular is a pain. And it isn't really all that light -- there's no way I would put this in my laptop bag and not really feel it.For the price, I'm happy with it.

I bought this tripod to use solely as a standing desk for my laptop when moving to different parts of the house to work from, including the back deck. I like to move to different parts of the house that have more light throughout the day. This tripod can be easily moved to another room when done working so that it is out of sight. The mouse pad addition is too flimsy to rely on, however.

I prefer this adjustable-leg tripod style of stand to the ones with a small tripod and tall pole neck. This style has a sturdier geometry for supporting something more than a couple of pounds. Easily assembled, the feet and all legs are adjustable which makes it flexible for uneven ground surfaces. As for sturdiness, it supports my 9 lb speakers well enough, but it certainly wobbles if touched or bumped. If the metal saddle which attaches the underside of the shelf to the tripod were only made of thicker metal, the wobbling would be far less. One odd thing is that the product box was untaped, and was shipped without an Amazon box, but all contents were present, in both of these that I ordered. Recommended.

This is quite useful. I am using it for my 14 inch laptop and it is doing fine. I like this as I don't have much space on my desk to fit two monitors and a laptop. I also have a laptop fan and mouse on it as well and still holds. It's quite sturdy. It's also nice too, to have that extender for a mouse pad. Can't put too much weight on the pad though as the hooks that keeps it in place can bend. One other great thing is you can adjust the height.

I was very hopeful for this stand because it was a good height and fairly inexpensive. However when I received this product, I quickly realized there was something wrong as I was putting it together. The hole that connects the tripod to the base had not been punched through during the manufacturing process, so it could not connected. As this was the case, I could not set anything on the tripod as it was too unsturdy. I had to return. I will say that the tripod felt quality and it would have been a good item if not for the error.

It's pretty good for the price, main tray is good, side tray.. don't like that it just hangs on the main tray and what you sit on it can slide off, the elastic straps.. I got one not 2 and it will not fit my projector, velcro straps would work better and slots in main tray would not be a bad idea but they would not work for laptops. I do like how the legs spread out and make it more stable. Gonna use velcro cable ties to hold the power cord to the stand. Very adjustable even if used outside to level it off or to get the height you want. So far I like it. Mine will be used outside alot.

This has so much utility. I bought one for my at home studio and its been so helpful for interfaces, laptop, phone tutorials, even my keyboard held on it. Then i can bring it to my living room to do hw on my couch. For the price I definitely expected worse. Its quality, even from my engineering standpoint. Even comes with a carrying bag to take it on the go. It has a built in level to make sure its always properly set up. It’s withstood ppl bumping into it and not fallen. 2 of my roommates bought them after using mine. DO ITTTT

Needed a tripod for an outdoor/removable projector. This one fit the bill nicely, especially at a low price point. Parts are a little flimsy, and the locking mechanism for the tray is pressure not ratchet, but it works fine. Did not use the mouse tray, etc., but they seem acceptable too.

I ordered this in a panic after realizing I had no way to set up my projector after purchasing both a projector screen and pocket projector!This stand worked perfectly. I’ve used it outside and here and there over the last year, and I’m very happy with the purchase.My only complaint is that the assembly instructions could have been clearer. I messed it up the first time, and it was quite a hassle to undo and fix. But now that it's properly assembled and stays that way, I couldn’t be more satisfied with it! It's versatile and could easily stand the weight of a heavier object such as a full size projector or laptop.

The media could not be loaded. Great

Great sturdy product. Works great. Only thing that could be improved is the cell phone holder is only about 4-6 inches long and hard to get lined up at the correct angle. If your ok with that then it’s a great product

Protect better the part. The big plate was almost out of is protection.
