Original review:This product may indeed be good. I am hoping that it is... however, when I ordered, what I received matched the picture (100' roll - which I had not noticed before) rather than the described 250'. That explains why the actual item (250') roll found elsewhere on Amazon is quite a bit more in cost ($38). This item should probably be described as being 100', not 250'!Updated:Amazon updated their product description and got me sorted out. I really like this product so far. It's very easy to use and is superior to using string/rope with tubing, etc. I like that its easy to see and matched with the arbor tie steel stakes was cheaper than some poorer quality wood/string staking kits available at my local lowes.To save on material, I'd recommend using a bowline knot to tie this to the tree. This leaves space and also allows for one long strand.If I could make one improvement/suggestion... It would be awesome to have something like this with integrated deer repellent (scent) if even possible. That would kill two birds with one stone!

Arbortie is perfect for staking trees that have been toppled over from "Sandy". It is very strong, won't cut into the bark of the tree, and easy enough to use. We got the idea to use this product from the tree service we hired to right 15 trees that uprooted from the storm. Arbortie is what the used tied to metal stakes in the ground. These trees were each 20 feet tall, very, very heavy and clumsy to handle. The job was made easier and time saving because it was perfect for the job. I might add that for the price you get your money's worth.

I tied my small new trees to stakes to keep them from rocking in the wind. I used arbor knots to attach to the tree and this has worked the best of anything I've ever tried.

This works great for tying back large arborvites after Hurricane . It does not cut into the trunk of the tree and can hold heavy weighted arbors during snow accumulation. Great product.

We are a professional landscape company that installs many large trees. We love using this stuff! It's strong enough for large trees but soft and flexible enough to use on smaller shrubs as necessary. It can be cut to any length and the color blends in well with the landscape.

This stuff works great. Very strong and easy to work with. I used this product to stabilize an Apple tree in my back yard after the wind blew it off vertical by 45 degrees and was straightened with a come a long, sheep herder jack, 3/4" manila rope, and a 20' tow strap. Once back to vertical I replace the foregoing tools and material with this guying material. I had a lot of pressure on but 2 months later its working great and my tree is vertical. This stuff could also be used as a miniature tow strap when several pieces are used together. It has lots of additional uses.

Lightweight, strong and flexible. I bundle hardware cloth with it.

I'm so impressed by this seemingly simple product. I've staked a lot of young trees both to protect them from the harsh wind up where we are and correct their "posture" after several were "smushed" by the wind and snow last winter. I'm confident they'll do the job without risking hard to the trees.

Quite expensive but worth it. Not only holds tree to stake securely but also unobtrusive to look at. The best staking material I've used.

Excellent product.

It performed quite satisfactorily. It was used to bring Emerald Cedar trees together to maintain their spiral appearance.They had been spreading as their limbs grew and their appearance was deteriorating as they got taller and wider.
