My solar lights were laying all over the yard and we were constantly trying to stand them up. And my lights were heavy, with real glass in them. These worked great, and they are all straight and secure now.Our solar lights were a 1" diameter. We had to wrap the electrical tape that they provide around the tops of the stake, and that was fine. The tape they provide is not enough, so make sure you have another roll available. They worked perfectly after that.You can't expect an after market part to fit right out of the box for every brand.I would definitely but these again.

Even though these are for solar lights, I took a chance and ordered them to try to fix my wired path lights that kept falling over. I'm so glad I did because they worked like a charm! I just cut a slit in the plastic adapter rings so they would fit over the wires. They fit well on my lights with only the tiniest bit of wobble, so I used the included electrical tape for extra stability. I'm so happy to have found this solution!

They were too small for my lights. However each spike has an adapter that fits over the end to increase the size. There’s also a lip that prevents the spike from slipping into a tube that’s too large. I used electrical tape to build up the end so it fit tighter into the light tube. I think they’ll be fine

Portfolio Solar Pathlights from Lowe's were discontinued and they sell the stakes to replace the broken ones for $10 a piece. I measured carefully and bought these instead and they work perfectly.Be careful to measure the inside diameter of the light post to be sure these will fit your lights. Well made and shipped fast.

Totally wrong diameter from what is advertised!

These were narrower than my light posts, however, they do seem to be a better option than the plastic ones.They come with a plastic insert that mates with the stake. Although it was too narrow as well, what I did was go buy some 7/8" OD / 5/8" ID clear plastic hose from Home Depot (you only need about 5" of it, so cut the end without the tag and do what's obvious with the rest). Cut the hose very cleanly in lengths that match the plastic insert. Then cut the hose ring in half so you have 2 C-shaped parts. Wrap the insert with one of the C's and jam it in the post. Voila, tight fit and no issues. I give this product a 3 because I think the manufacturer should do some research and provide alternative different size inserts.

These worked great. I was able to use for several of my Halloween decorations and even augmented a couple to work for some others. Durable, well made. Fits perfectly into 3/4" PVC with collar pieces. That is why I bought 2 boxes.

I purchased these because I've had the usps, and ups people snap them off the plastic stakes when delivering packages. I like that they are metal and support my lights. However they are smaller in diameter, so I had to wrap tape around them to get a tight fit. I really like the sturdiness of the stakes.
