Bit pricey but delicious
This gives added taste to any green vegetable dishes.ALWAYS remember to Soak overnight in water or white vinegar to remove salt. It can be even par boil on the day.Once cool, flake with fork or fingers. Season vegetable to your taste and add. Delicious. Do recommend it. Give it a try you will not be disappointed

Mistake
Cheap product, packed in China, fished and dried God knows where. Not to be bought again.

Rare
5 stars for salt fish you can actually afford, not because its the best. I do not know what's happened to salt fish really, now all of a sudden its a prized possession. On Amazon in some shops at £40+ a side. It was always poor peoples food. But then monkfish was thrown off the boats because no one would eat it and now try buying it unless you live in Chelsea. For the dishes I make, salt fish stew and others this works well and is consistent and without AAC I couldn't eat it!

Not very good
This was not salted cod (bacalao) as I expected, but pollack. Pollack is too flaky to be salted successfully.Used in a caribbean salted fish salad recipe and it just disintegrated. You're much better off purchasing from a specialist shop.
