Biscuit's Pet & Play Halloween: A Halloween Touch & Feel Book for Kids

Adorable and no issues. Gave as a baby shower gift.

I have purchased this book at the excited request of a child with a severe reading disability. She was already being tutored at school by a reading tutor and it turned out that Biscuit Books were a part of the reading the kids were doing at school at times. I will note she was far past the recommended age, nearly double, but this series encouraged her the most to want to read.The "touch and feel" pages I think more than anything is what helped her get past her frustration and push through everyday to make progress. Before trying these type of books, she would quickly become flustered and just throw them to the side and give up.Beyond that, I would say they are overall well-made books with simplistic and repetitive language that helps children learn to read, and the touch-and-feel aspects is a bonus for some, but a necessity for others.

This was our first Biscuit book and I was really impressed.The board book was really nice heavy pages and there were actually different textures in the book, unlike most "touch and feel" books which basically use the same fur in different colors. This has the textures of:-Fur-Straw- Glitter-Silk-TinselThe spots where you can touch are quite large as well.The art is charming and has almost a retro vibe. The story is told from the puppy's perspective. It's very cute.The listing says this is for ages 4-8 years. The book itself says 2-5 years. My 6 month old really enjoys it.The pages are nice and thick, though one is a bit thicker than the others. I checked a different copy and this seems to be the norm for this book I guess.

Cute, interactive, classic Biscuit Board Book.

Biscuit books are cute and I like them, this one is no exception. My kids, especially the baby, want me to read this several times a day. Love it

The Biscuit books always go over well at my house. Biscuit goes out trick or treating and sees all sorts of Halloween things. This is a good sensory book.

my granddaughter enjoys the "Biscuits" series as she loves dogs. Just cute playful experiences that Biscuits gets involved in at Halloween. I've purchased most of the series and we both enjoy them!

My twins love Biscuit so I bought this book for Halloween for them. It's a fun board book and each page has something for kids to feel and to help them start to understand Halloween. There are also several different things on every page to point out to kids so they can learn new objects. We have several Biscuit books and will continue to purchase them!

Was not impressed with ththe tactile pieces of this book, which is why I bought it.
