I have always had body odor issues. No matter how well I washed or how frequently people would say I stink or would accuse me of not washing at all. This has caused more than simply embarrassment though. I've actually been brought up on discipline at college for what they thought was poor hygiene. It also affected job opportunities. I couldn't even get a job at a wastewater facility because of my smell!So, why did I stink? Hereditary skin bacteria. Everyone has them, but different groups of people have a different smell because the bacteria gets passed from parent to child through direct skin contact. This is why I didn't notice any bad smell myself. I've lived with it my entire life.Then I heard about "Mother Dirt" as a bacterial inoculation and decided to give it a try, but at first my own bacteria still over powered it. So, here's what I did for a permanent change :1.) wash extremely well and dry.2.) lather triple antibiotic ointment over all areas of my skin that carry large concentrations of odor causing bacteria. Arm pits, feet, etc. Anywhere I might smell and anywhere near. I called this my "nuclear option"3.) Leave in for 12 hour then wash off thoroughly with soap and water.4.) heavily spray entire body with mother dirt, but more heavily where the ointment was.5.) repeat spray daily for a week.The old bacteria would still have existed in some parts of the body and could have grown back eventually, but the mother dirt took over before it had the chance. While some of the original bacteria probably still exists on my body, the mother dirt is dominant.Afterwards, I had some initial problems because I noticed my own scent too much, but that was just because I wasn't used to it. Within a few weeks I got used to it.I ran a test to see how long it takes me to stink now. Whereas before half a day was enough to smell like I haven't bathed, after even if I worked out and didn't bathe for a month I didn't smell nearly half as bad.I bought this for much less than the new price - a mere $20 - but also bought other products with it. Honestly, this is all I needed. I used less than half, haven't used it in over a year, and the effects continue to last. Given that even the new price would have been worth it.If I didn't nuke the old bacteria I'd have to use this daily, which would still be of value, but having the ability to fully replace my skin bacteria was life changing. Everyone notices the difference, especially my significant other.Side Note : If someone stinks at your work or school, don't assume they don't bathe. If you have to say something mention this story.

I didn't think this would do anything, boy was I wrong.I am preparing to backpack the Appalachian Trail and have been looking for some products to help keep me fresh during my trek. I also read into some stories about people using this product to completely stop taking showers. I have been using it every day at least once and especially after doing something that makes me sweat.I don't really have too much of a problem with body odor, but if I didn't shower after working out or something strenuous, I would definitely have a little funk going on before I started using this product. I read some stories about people using this product and stopping showers all together which intrigued me. I didn't completely stop showering and wash my hair and feet every day because I just can't handle the oily feeling and I rinse my body off if I get visibly dirty, but I have dramatically cut down on the amount of water I use. I can tell you this product works for me. I don't even have to use deodorant because my body just doesn't stink anymore. I plan to continue to use this product daily for at least two months and experimenting with stopping and seeing if the effects diminish or persist after discontinuing it.I have tried 3 products including this one, the other two are by LiviaOne and Dermatic.Dermatic's product caused me to have a pretty bad skin reaction and my whole face became red and inflamed. It also had a very foul smell which had a very distinct aroma of rot which made me sick to my stomach. I would not recommend that one.LiviaOne's product didn't smell or produce any skin reactions which was a plus, but the bottle was very small and did not last very long.Mother Dirt's AO+ had the most noticeable results and also has a very light but pleasant smell. It also came in a tightly wrapped pouch with 2 reusable ice packs which is a bonus, they are used to keep the bacteria cold during transport and extend the life of the bacteria. I'm very happy with this brand and will buy again.
