Moss arrived earlier than expected. The flame moss was still green in the package. I hope my shrimp with like the moss.

Contains hair algae!!!
So, i bought a couple of these pads to add some more cover for red cherry shrimp. Nothing new had been added to my tank for months but i was getting ready to add shrimp and felt it was better to get the cover in order first. WHAT A NIGHTMARE thu s stuff turned out to be. It looked nice when it arrive, but i soon noticed hair algae growing out of it and when i tried to clear it off some must have gotten loose. Now my whole damn tank has pockets of hair algae showing up and nothing eats it!!!! This purchase ruined my tank. I had zero hair algae before its addition. Dont buy this product, just dont....

Perfect moss squares- well almost!!
Great moss and nice and thick. My only complaint is that it is attached to a wire mesh. The complaint about the mesh is that all the mesh wires are still exposed. Great for connecting two or more together but the other sides I has to spend 25 minutes bending them in and crimping them so neither fish or crayfish get caught or sliced open. I would recommend this item with the warning of the exposed wires.

Flame moss
Small screen piece with Flame Moss attached. Looked fresh & came well packaged. Placed in Aquarium ( new shrimp set up). & is looking good. I think it will grow well. Would like to be able to buy a bigger/ longer moss . Hoping it grows quickly.

Healthy and Beautiful. Hard to hide metal edges.
It arrived in good health and has stayed that way. It grew taller than I expected and when doing a tank rearranging I held it upside down and cut it shorter. In two months I haven't gotten it to stick to the substrate (hence how easy it was to pull out) or grow beyond the metal mesh. I have trouble hiding the metal mesh ends. This time around I bent them all down and I am hoping that helps. You cannot cut the wire mesh. I tried with garden sheers with no success.

The moss arrived very full and healthy. It looks beautiful in my 5gal tank and my betta and ghost shrimp LOVE it. My shrimp have been running around and hiding in it all day and Arnold, my betta, likes to nap on it. The moss is attached to a wire grid which makes it easy to mold (I shaped mine over a little bridge in my tank). Right now the edges of the wire stick out a little bit but as the moss grows, that won't be an issue anymore. A nice addition to any tank.

Ahh so happy with this
Ahh so happy with this! It was so well packed and easy to set up. My triop loves it. He likes to sift through the moss over the weekends. And it helps because since he is an office pet I can't feed him on Saturday/Sunday. So if by chance there is not enough food he will nibble on the moss to hold him over until Monday. Its very hardy and doesn't seem to take much damage from him. It also perked up right when it entered the water. So it looks super cool and natural! Woo!

The flame moss came in with large yellow patches. There was a slight hint of green so I threw it into my shrimp tank in hopes that it would make a rebound. It has now turned completely yellow/light brown. The tank is CO2 injected and I regularly dose plant fertilizers.
