Atomos Shinobi 7

Love this new 7” screen. It’s massive and gives an excellent picture from my canon xf605 camera.Easy functions.

Really Nice Monitor... but had to return it. Everything about this monitor is REALLY NICE except mainly one thing. The fans are LOUD. Even in the "QUIET MODE" that you can switch this monitor too... if you have a on camera Mic, it WILL still pick up the fan noise. I really hated to return it because this monitor is so beautiful. But gonna go pick up the Shinobi 5" instead. It's fanless and will work better for my needs. So if fan noise is something that doesn't bother you or you have a workaround for it like All mics off camera away from the Shinobi 7. Then You are GOOD. The size is a little cumbersome but totally not a deal breaker.

Ich war mir lange unsicher, ob ich den Atomos Shinobi in 5 oder 7 Zoll kaufen soll. Habe mich letzten Endes für den 7 Zoll entschieden.Fazit: Riesig, überdimensioniert auf meiner A7IV, aber das Display ist einfach top, die Möglichkeiten wie Fokusrahmen für Insta-Format, das Fokus Peaking usw. sind einfach eine perfekte Ergänzung wenn man ersthaft mit seiner Kamera arbeitet und filmt.Helligkeit top, Akkulaufzeit top, Verarbeitung top, wie eigentlich alles.Trotzdem. Der Preis für einen Monitor ist heftig und die Größe ist enorm, vor allem das Gewicht wenn man 2 Akkus drauf hat. Also nichts für Fotografen, sondern nur dann perfekt, wenn man mit Rig oder Stativ arbeitet.Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Good product but when outputting from the camera 1080i HDMI to the monitor output the audio is unusable. But I think everything else it alright. (Hopefully the next firmware version will fix the bug.)Currently they have no remote control on the monitor for any other camera beside Zcam. So keep on mind when purchasing.

I have been using this monitor for a month now, and I love it. It plays back 4K60 and 4K120 FPS which is what I needed. I film many outdoor weddings, and sometimes it's hard to see what you are viewing on sunny days, but that's not an issue with this monitor. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a monitor and the appropriate price point.
