Power City rocks
While the number of times and manner the hero escapes death defy inagination, those of real life Seals often do as well. Their real life escapes just aren’t quite as scenic as a trip over Niagara Falls or the dramatic seconds from death at the end. What keeps the reader in the story is the depth of the characters and their relationships. You can’t help but cheer for Joe and Christy to make it.As a child, I spent my summers with my grandparents outside Lockport NY. If the rest of the story had not already captivated me, the accurate descriptions of Buffalo and Niagara Falls would have.

Every bit as good as Forces Of Redemption
I recently discovered John Galt Robinson's books. Power City is the second book about Christy and Joe. I was hoping it would be as good as Forces Of Redemption, and it was. I really enjoyed the setting of Niagara Falls as I have been there several times. The story kept me on the edge of my sea! I love Christy, Joe, and all of their friends and family. I am looking forward to reading the next book Lost Angels. Robinson is rapidly becoming a must read author for me.So grab your favorite beverage and settle in for a fantastic adventure!I borrowed this book through Kindle Unlimited. All thoughts are my own.

Captivating characters
The hallmark of a good story is caring what happens to the people in the story. In John Galt Robinson’s books you immediately get attached to and care about what happens to the people he introduces. The story lines move along briskly. And the conversations about life and faith are engaging, believable and have potent impact no matter where you are on your faith journey. Look for subtle humor and references scattered throughout the dialog. A delightful read on many levels. I highly recommend.

Another incredible action packed ride
From the opening chapters to the very end this book grabs your attention and doesn't let you go. It also has me wondering about my whole life and why I've shunned religion. I have always felt that as a child I had it shoved down my throat from weekend bible classes to Thursday CCD where I was always in trouble for just being a kid. I see what is going on in the world right now and can't help but think I may be missing something with all the negativity out there. So I'm getting the next book in the series and see what feelings that will bring up. Good work Mr Robinson.

Powerful Book
A tremendous sequel to "Forces of Redemption" that grips you with intensity in the first chapter wasting no time putting Joe O'Shanick back in harms way! The detail of legal, medical, nautical, and military topics is fantastic and well researched but well laid out and understandable for the masses. This book throws down the marker and establishes a great new writer on the scene in John Galt Robinson as this series continues!!

My new favorite author
Wow! Book 2 of John Galt Robinson’s collection is really, really good. I did not want to put it down. Intrigue, suspense, and a few twists I was not expecting along the way with a powerful storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat with an intricately woven life changing message…Power City has left me eager for the next installment. John Galt Robinson is my new favorite author. I am expecting great things. Don’t wait on the movie (somebody please make it!), this is a great book!
