Beware.
The power plug is Europe only. I think that is why it does not get enough power. It won't charge my nexus 5. All i get this thing to do is give me a red light. I've tried multiple usb cables and many jacks including the ones built into my a/c outlets, and including the fast charge adapter included. I even changed my battery out for a new one. Negative results. It wouldn't charge my phone.

Great, compact, attractive little Qi compatible wireless charger
If you’re only here for a review, skip down a couple of paragraphs. ‘Kay? In 2012 Google introduced their new Nexus 4 development model phone for a bargain price, with a couple of bleeding edge features, including wireless charging. They offered a tennis ball sized, tilted charger with a “sticky” rubber surface that clung to the 4’s glass-like back ... IF you kept it dust-free with a lint roller or soft microfiber cloth. That detail was beyond the comprehension of many who complained that the phone would slide off the charger’s face, even posting videos on social media and video sharing sites. (sigh) I picked up several of these at a bargain price from those who were frustrated and seemingly never used a Scotch lint roller (which cleans it perfectly in one or two swipes). The next year Google offered the Nexus 5 with a soft touch black back, or smooth white back. The optional charger in 2013 was the small flat puck you see here with a piano black surface. The bottom of charging pad has a sticky rubber foot that clings to a desk, or even a vertical mirror (more on that in a moment). Why? They doubled down and took inspiration from a device a few years ago that positioned itself on the charger with gentle magnets and flat metal on the inside of the case back. Now the Nexus 5, and the 2013 model Nexus 7 tablet, would naturally position properly on the charging pad without any fidgeting to get the proper spot of the caseback centered on the pad. The “pull” was strong enough to hold a Nexus 5 phone to the pad, and if the bottom of the pad was clean enough, you could position it on a bathroom mirror with the phone adhering to it. Not that you should — DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS.How does the charger work? Like gangbusters. Provided with 5VDC 1.8A input from an adapter (like the provided charger, OR a Nexus 7 USB charger, or any number of plug-in chargers), the charging pad can provide my Nexus 5 and 7 ‘13 with 600mA to 900mA of wireless charging (measured with an Android battery monitoring app). You may get roughly 1000mA (or more with a Nexus 7) from a wired USB-to-microUSB corded connection, but the wireless use case lets you set a wireless charging compatible phone/device on the pad for a top-up, then pick it up and go without dealing with small cord connections. I have several wireless chargers around the house so that my devices are near fully charged at most times and ready to be taken on errands.Obviously a larger-battery device like a Nexus 7 takes longer to charge to 100% this way ... hours even. The phone, much less. Corded is preferable if the battery is LOW and you need to charge FAST. This is a convenience that lessens wear ‘n tear on the cord connection. Some devices will report this as “slow charging”; don’t worry about this. Passing some charging current by induction ain’t lightning fast. Be patient. These “International model” chargers are intended for the foreign market, with AC adapters meant for those countries. The charging PAD is powered by 5VDC 1.8A (five volts DC, and one-point-8 amps current) which a suitable US tablet charger will provide via microUSB connection (like on phones); the pad is separate, no modification is needed to pair it with any adapter. (Phone chargers used to provide 500mA to 1A, modern chargers may provide more.) These are easy to find and relatively cheap. Even a AC+USB wall outlet can provide 1.8A; I use one in my kitchen counter to power an LG WCP-300 charging pad as well as this (obviously this is an LG-made WCP-400). If you see a tiny red light on the charging pad upon plugging in, it’s indicating the adapter isn’t putting enough out. Sometimes simply unplugging and plugging in again can resolve this, or try another adapter. You’ll know it works when you connect the pad to a tablet charging adapter, set your wireless charge-compatible device on the pad, and a sound (or indicator) shows a slow charge taking place. At the prices these older Qi wireless charging pads are being sold at, this is a very attractive little pad for the money. Don’t want one — FINE, I’ll take it for you. :)

Do not waste your money
Its a piece of junk and not worth a penny. They also send you a European charger which doesn't plug into American wall outlets. I spent an additional $8 for an adapter and the junk still didn't work. Do not waste your money!!!!!!

Ships with UK charger, but can work in US
The micro USB charging port on my Nexus 7 2013 became damaged and would not charge with a cable. Otherwise the Nexus works well. Until I can get the cable port fixed, I wanted to know if wireless charging was an option and I came across this device. This package comes with a USB wall charger with a UK outlet plug, a USB to micro USB charging cable, and the wireless charging device which is square, about 2.25 inches each side, and about half an inch thick with a micro USB port. This CAN work with U.S. power outlets if you swap out the UK wall charger with a U.S. charger. BUT conditions apply. The wireless charging unit is a bit finicky or temperamental. A small, red dot will light up on the wireless charging unit if it feels it's not getting the correct voltage/current supplied by the wall charger. I suggest using something in the range of 5V/2.0A, which is common for chargers today. Still, the red light may appear on the wireless charging unit. In that case, unplug the wall charger, wait a couple seconds, and then plug the wall charger back in again. You may need to experiment with different wall charger/charging cable combinations.I'm using a Samsung wall charger rated 5V/2.0A and it works well with the wireless charger/cable combo that came in the Nexus wireless charger box. The wireless charger did not seem to work for me using a Samsung USB/micro USB charging cable. I had to play around with different wall chargers and cable combinations to find a pair that worked, for me. Still on occasion, when I unplug the wall charger the wireless unit is connected to -- I may have to unplug, wait and few seconds, then plug back in to make the red dot disappear on the wireless charging unit.Once working, the wireless charger successfully charged a Nexus 7 2013 model. BUT --- I found the Nexus cannot have a protective case. The wireless charger HAS to be against the Nexus 7 2013 without any protective case. Now, my experiments show that this wireless charger will also work with other wireless charging enabled phones/tablets, but again they can't have a protective case otherwise the wireless charger won't be close enough to the battery it's trying to recharge. You can tell the wireless charger is working because your Android device will display the battery icon with a lighting bolt in it.I recommend this unit with the above caveats! It's nifty and inexpensive but requires some fiddling to work in the U.S. Minus one star for having to fiddle around to make this work.

Didn't work
This was for a Nexus 6, I had to by a converter for it which I was not expecting. The description was vague when I purchased. It would not charge the phone.

didnt work
It did not work for what I wanted it to and then the plug is not from the US. I couldn't return it because I didn't have time or patience I thought it would work for my phone. It did once but then it didn't work ever again. This is honestly trash

Warning: NOT for U.S. use
Item is worthless in the United States unless you buy a clunky adapter. When the seller says "International" it apparently means "other nations, not U.S."There are lots of other wireless chargers. This item appears to be well-engineered and nicely made. If you can find it from a different vendor - with a plug suitable for normal American use - go for it. If you spend time overseas, you may like this version.

Does what says on the box.
Excellent little gadget that saves me having to get my micro USB charging socket fixed. OK, the technology is energy-wasteful but once docked (trial and error at first) it works just fine. It charges my Nexus 7 at around 350mA which is ideal for overnight charging. I'm actually typing this with the Charger magnetically clinging to the back of the tablet and it never moves, charging as I type. Great little gizmo!

Don't recommend for Nexus 5
I am kind of dissapointed about this device. I have a Nexus 5, a phone for which this device was actually made , and it's very tricky to use the charger. You have to fiddle and move the phone on the charger to find a position in which it charges the phone. Tested it with a Galaxy S5, worked way better...

Works very well with the Nexus 5 and slim case ...
Works very well with the Nexus 5 and slim case. Also works with Samsung galaxy phones without a case on.

Very happy!
Original product, arrived very fast! I can finally use my Nexus 7 (2013) again, which I couldn't due to USB port on my device being broken for months. The only reason I didn't get this product earlier is I live in a country where shipping is hard so I have to travel abroad to get things.
