This is great this is the second one I have bought. A different brand stopped working after one day . This one is fab does the job in my water feature . Fab product

The system works well but is very basic ie no stake for solar panel so it has to be free standing also cable quite short so has to be located V close to water feature - you get what you pay - it is VV cheap snd good vfm

This is a great little pump for our small barrel pond. We just needed a pump to aerate the water. It only works in the day but that’s fine.

I hope you have more consistency with your pump than I and countless others had.If you do buy it, remember to cover the solar panel when you take it out of the box so that it doesn't start working until you are ready.This pump worked great for 1 hour when I set up. Then the next day, it would only pulse water out of the tubing, even though I would have thought there was enough sun.I had located the panel in direct sunlight, securing it to the fence as it doesnt come with a stake to secure it into the ground.The next day was a warm clear blue sky day and the pump was working great....for 1 hour, then it went back to pulsing for no apparent reason. It hasn't worked properly since.I'm genuinely gutted because I thought it would be good enough for my tiny little water feature, but nope. Cheap quality, tiny pump which is not fit for purpose.Don't waste your money!

It was easy to assemble and in bright sun it worked well. However as soon as the sun went behind a cloud the fountain stopped and we hadn't thought about benefits of buying a fountain which would store the energy so it would give a more constant flow.

Item bought as a refurb of an existing water feature. A bit under-whelmed by the small size of the unit and unsure if the item would lift the amount of water required. I needn't have worried, it worked really well. Also the instructions said it would only work in direct sunlight, but has proved to work well with bright cloud cover, A great piece of kit, especially for the price. Really pleased.

water feature is just dreadful. the pump does not work unless the solar panel is in FULL sun light, meaning any slight shadow the pump dosn't get enough supply of electricity to keep the pump running meaning its durability is questionable at best. Its almost impossible to install with any kind of reliability.

For the price it's great.I used this solar pump to create some surface agitation and a filter by padding it with filter wool and foam in a small cage and feeding the tube around a branch. It sits in a 65litre bucket pond and I clean the foam and wool every so often when it's all turned brown.It helped clear the pond quickly keeping the water clear shortly after adding new plants and disturbing the substrates. It works surprisingly well in direct sunlight, and put put puts away when shady, turning off in total shade. it offers enough for what I need. If its not fixed in place this could travel around and empty your pond so add a weight or fix it in place if using as a fountain - clean it every so often, and don't expect too much from a cheap solar panel!
