*Warning* The bed in the pictures is a Furhaven bed but it does NOT come with the frame. I already had the bed, it’s the Furhaven Jumbo napper.1st. The package is heavy but once it’s assembled, the frame (jumbo) is not as heavy but still a little weighty. It is made entirely of wood.2nd. These are real wood slats.3rd. The legs are metal and wood and they are also heavy.The assembly instructions are clear, lots of pictures. If you have ever assembled something from IKEA, you shouldn’t have a problem here.The slats have to be screwed into the frame and it provides great support. My dog (95lbs and growing) sometimes likes to Superman into the bed and it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry about the slats popping out of place.Be careful cleaning the frame, despite it being pretty it is covered in veneer. We’ve only had one incident (kitten puked on it) and I wiped it down with Method wood cleaner and it didn’t warp or discolor.If you are looking for something pretty and functional, this is it.

This elevated bed frame is stylish and sturdy - worth every penny. Assembly took less than 30 minutes and it was easy to find a bed to fit within the frame according to the measurements available in the product specifications. Our dogs love it and it fits the aesthetic of our new home. Highly recommend this product!

Nice quality bed, arrived well packaged, in perfect condition. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Pretty easy to put together. We did end up screwing in all the slats as they were loose and rattling and scaring my dog every time he got on. I got the medium for my 28lbs bichon mix. It works because he likes to curl up but it would be too small for side sleepers this size. I initially ordered a Furhaven bed with 3 bolsters for on the platform and it made the area too small to sleep. With just a regular mattress it works for him.

I think more slats should be included for the price of this bed. I shouldn’t have to spend additional money to create a stable sleeping surface for my dog. This may not be an issue for small/lightweight dogs, but definitely for large to medium breeds. Having said that, since I’ve added the extra slats my dog seems pretty comfortable in her bed.I like that she’s elevated off the floor, my roomba can easily fit underneath, the frame itself seems sturdy-ish, but watch out for those corners, they hurt!

Our dog used to be able to jump on to her chair, but she can no longer do this due to her rear ankles.We found this Furhaven dog bed kit on Amazon and at a reasonable price.The kit came with all parts identified and nothing missing. An Allen wrench is also included, which I didn't use. Too small for my hands.Following the instructions for order of assembly, I had the bed assembled in about 1/2 hour.For this type of use, sturdiness and construction is of high quality. The finish has a minimum of flaws, and with the adhesive rubber feet attached to the bottom of the legs, the bed doesn't slide around when she climbs on to it. Also, the bed is just high enough, so that when she sits up, she is able to look out of the patio door to watch out for her chipmunks, squirrels, and deer.This puppy bed has made our dog's life much easier, more comfortable, and less painful, for which we are so grateful.I do recommend this Furhaven dog bed frame for all pets' weather or not they have physical limitations

Great modern dog bed. durable. we actually have two, can’t remember if i got the other one from chewy or Amazon. prices were comparable when i bought them. easy to build/install. i don’t feel like one dog bed is enough cushion for the wood panel it sits on so we doubled up on dog beds. life is ruff.

The frame is very sturdy and looks nice. Our dog bed fit perfectly and our pups both wanted to use it as soon as I put the bed down. If it holds up, I will order 2 more so all 3 dogs can have one.

I was so excited for this to come as I bought it for my 9 yr old golden retriever but was completely shocked with the product I received. I would give it zero stars if I could. Not only were components damaged but there was a random old sandwich bag in the box, the assembly instructions crumpled up on the corner of the box, scattered loose screws and bolts in the box, and over half of the screws and bolts were missing. It had clearly been previously opened and returned with critical assembly parts missing, which is unfortunate because there’s no way to safely assemble this to where a dog could safely lay on this. Will be returning the product asap.
