There was little to no actual filling. There was the flavor, but the cream was largely absorbed into the pastry. Very disappointed. Will not buy again.

Once upon a time this was my review. “These are so good!!! Light and crispy with a cream filling! Great with coffee!” But the last time they weren’t great. This time unacceptable! First maybe don’t mail in an envelope and secondly they were dry and stale. First time I ever had these I was gifted them and loved them. Found them on Amazon and loved them again. Last two times yuck. Bummer it was a delicious little pastry, but not anymore.

I got a small pack of these when I received a gift basket for Mother’s Day from my daughter. They are flaky and buttery and the filling is not too sweet. I wanted more so I’m glad I was able to find the whole packs of the different flavors.

I first tried these in a gift basket and they were AMAZING! These, although kind of flaky were NOT like the ones I from the basket. These had no filling, they crumbled (disintegrated actually) and were dry. For the $12 price you get 6 or so but DEFINITELY was not worth the money. They also tasted old.

This cookie is very good, except for the fact that it just falls to pieces when you try to eat it. The pastry is extreme flaky. I wish it wasn’t quite so much.
