MP Maresh Products Hose Compatible with and Replacement for Oreck Buster B Compact Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Using Friction Fit (4 Feet Long)

The old hose was totally falling apart and I checked with a local vacuum shop but they did not have a replacement so I ordered this one and it fits perfectly! It also works with the attachments and extensions that I already had on hand. Very good product that I highly recommend!

This hose is a good replacement for the original hose. It is much stiffer to handle, however.

Home vacuuming. I notice that the harder plastic on the two end couplings are of a brittler material than my original hose. I’ll need to be gentle with it so it doesn’t crack.

My very old Oreck compact still works and is the best compact I have had, the hose cracked. I was thrilled to find this inexpensive way to repair and not have to replace.

This hose is so stiff! Hoping it will loosen up over time as it makes it a bit hard to maneuver.

The hose I received was definitely not made for my Oreck model. I double checked the model to be sure it would be compatible and according to the description, this should've been. The picture advertised is the correct hose and what I was expecting.The one received has the friction fit end but the section is much longer than it should be. I tried attaching the hose, hoping it could still possibly work. It goes in, but I'm pretty sure it is staying in because it is too tight, not because of the friction fit notch. The side where you put attachments is completely different from what is pictured.I will say, the hose was also longer than I expected (in a good way). I ordered 4ft because the original is supposed to be 4 ft, but this one is a different material. it's a more plastic coil rather than a silicone like one. I actually think this material is better and would probably withstand a little more the issues my original is having.Not sure if I was just sent the wrong piece or if this is what they considered the correct attachment replacement. I had high hopes since there were mostly good reviews saying it worked with their Oreck. Will be returning and ordering an OEM replacement
