I like the look and playability of the figure. The price was right too.

I got this to complete my A-Squad figures and this was one of the figures I needed to get. First thing I will say is that the helmet is just the red space ranger helmet with an SPD logo on it. I do have to say that the paint job is just terrible on these figures. Hasbro has terrible quality control with either wrong helmets or bad paint jobs. There are either spots that are missing on the paint job or they just misaligned the paint job so it looks super awkward. Some of the remaining details are okay but not the best. You can tell they just cheaply made these with the armor and belt just simple plastic pieces and not really painted. Unlike the blue a-squad figure, this one at least has the proper silver matching color with the rest of the a-squad figure so you do not have to worry about . The "fire effect" piece actually matches the red color. The hands are terrible to grip the weapon. You have to bend the hand piece out a bit in order to get it to fit into their hand but it sometimes just falls out. You also cannot grip the correct area of the gun on the other hand as it cannot extend that far. You have to do the same with the other hand (bend it a bit) as well if you want it to grip the bottom of the figure. The weapons are okay but again they do not grip onto the hands very well. You have to force it on in order to really get it to hold. Even then it is super easy to just fall off so it is not exactly the best playing toy either. It actually causes it to warp a bit if you are not careful not to force the weapon too much. The figures do not have too much posing ability. This particular figure cannot stand on its own and it easily falls over. You cannot put it in many different stances as the weight might cause it to fall over. It's fallen off my shelf a few times. The joints are at least solid for the most part. It has not loosened or anything which is good. Overall the figures are not very good and already can tell just by the helmet paint quality. There are spots that weren't painted. That is just terrible quality control. The hands are terrible and not well shaped to hold the weapon. You have to force the figure hands open to hold the weapon and it looks awkward. Also the figure paint is not very good. It is off in so many places and should have some kind of quality control to avoid this. I understand it is mass made but it should have some quality control. Unless you are looking to collect the A-squad figure, you may want to avoid these lightning figures as they are just not up to par in quality. Unfortunately there is no SH figure of these so it is what it is.

I've seen other people say she can't hold her gun. She actually can but it's harder than it should. The guns are on the size of the male rangers' hands, not hers so it's possible but a bit awkward. You can judge yourself by the pics.Single jointed elbows sadly do affect her overral rating but I still think she's not bad at all. Paint application wasn't the best on mine but I like how different these ranger team look and so I went for it. Lastly, her head can barely move up and down, it won't tilt. It goes all the way around, of course. Fist and chop alternative hands are fine.

Action figure is nice but box came a little beat up

Spd A squad are some figures I never thought would exist and frankly not many probably asked for. Yet here it is!Solid figure you can easily get discounted with a big rifle accessory. No alternate head and the blast effect is smaller that others in the line.Pros-Overall a fine figureGreat BlasterCons-No unmasked head.

As a long time Power Rangers fan, I was so excited to add this to my Lightning Collection and still am but it’s important to know that the figure is discounted for a reason.The joints in the arms are lose and almost disjoint when you try to bend them. The belt was off center and the hands were really hard to articulate but after being super careful, I got a good pose. There was also a paint error on the vest but I kinda like it because if you’ve seen the season, it works. The box was also damaged upon arrival but all of this seems to be common for this figure and it’s sad they don’t at least post a warning. Some PR fans aren’t as nice as I am.Not a disappointment, but it did dim the shine of the figure. Especially since the characters don’t appear much in the show and we’re lucky to have even gotten them.Rate: 5/10
