iRobot Scooba Hardfloor Cleaning Concentrate

This is SO much nicer than the original Scooba enzymatic cleaning fluid! I had a first-gen Scooba back in the day, and oh, boy did that cleaning fluid stink. It was so unpleasant that I eventually gave up on it and just used water.Not only has the Scooba improved, but so has the cleaning fluid. When my new Scooba 450 arrived and I opened the included sample bottle, I was prepared for the worst. However, we were both pleasantly surprised by the clean, pleasant scent. It's a *tremendous* improvement over the original, which we used to compare to mouldy cheese. As far as effectiveness is concerned, it seems to work perfectly well. (I can't compare it to water-only cleaning because the floors aren't very grimy to start with, so there's not really a noticeable difference. It might be more obvious over time.) I do like the scent of this, though--it's a satisfying, just-mopped, freshly-cleaned smell, so I'll probably keep using it just for that.UPDATE: Still using the new Scooba and this cleaning fluid, still don't see any real difference between using the cleaning fluid vs. using warm water. As I said in the first review, the floors aren't that grimy to begin with, so it was hard to make a determination, but after a week of water-only cleaning with the Scooba, it didn't look like there was any dirt build-up. I settled for scrubbing a spot on the just-Scooba'd floor with a wet paper towel and some Windex to see if it came up dirty. While it wasn't sparkling clean, it was close enough for horseshoes and hand grenades. I went a week with the cleaning fluid after that, and did the paper towel test again. Might be circumstantial, but the result was the same.Personally, I think I got good results with both the fluid and plain water because I use the Scooba 3 times a week, which goes a long way to keeping the floors clean in the first place. If you only use the Scooba once a week, the cleaning fluid might give you more tangible results.

This new formula has a nice scent and cleans just as effectively as the original Scooba Clorox solution. This is the 3rd and best formula so far. The 2nd one was the Scooba Hard Floor Natural Enzyme Cleaner, which was terrible. Hopefully this one will be around for a long time. When the 1st formula (Clorox) disappeared it was tough to find anything like it.As a side note, it doesn't make any sense why iRobot discontinued the wonderful Scooba robots. The latest mopping Braava robots aren't as convenient as the Scooba models. I'm going to keep repairing my old Scooba to keep it going, even if it means tearing apart discarded spacecraft to find parts for it!Tip: one of the best upgrades for my Scooba was the Lithium Power brand "Lithium Scooba Replacement Battery For iRobot Scooba." I would give 5 stars as this product works well and has a pleasant smell. The problem I had when I first used it was that there are no directions. No idea how much concentrate I should use per unit of water. No measuring device or mark on the cup that came with the vacuum I'm using it with. I have just been squirting a little in there and it seems to be working, although perhaps water alone would do the job.

The iRobot Scooba Hardfloor Cleaning Concentrate does a good job.This is my first experience with the scooba and I understand that with the newer models, you can only use this concentrate or plain water. The scooba came with a small bottle of this solution and have since purchased a larger bottle.It has a pleasant smell that I don't find to be offensive. It also doesn't seem to bother my allergic and asthmatic family. It does a good job cleaning the floor and leaving the nice scent behind. It doesn't linger too long but it's nice while it lasts.Depending on how often you use your scooba, this bottle will last a while. The amount you put in the cup is pretty small. I've had this bottle for a few months and just about time to re-order.

Seems to e working well adding 2 0z and then f illing remainder of container with water

Works pretty good. Can't tell much of a difference between this and just plain water, but I like the smell (I see there is some debate here on it).I can't visually see a difference in the floor and water still comes out the same shade of disgusting gray. Expensive for no noticeable difference, but it leaves the kitchen smelling nice, in my and my wife's opinions.

This stuff works great! I purchased a Braava 380t and this was recommended as a purchase with it, I checked out iRobots website and it recommends this as an option as well. I used it and it works great! Floors look great and it has a nice smell, not very strong or chemically smelling. There's no instructions on measuring the fluid out on the bottle, but the iRobot website says to use "1/2 a teaspoon per reservoir pad. OR to make a larger batch, use 1.5 teaspoon per quart of water." I did that and it worked great. I'll be sure to purchase more!

I really like this cleaning solution it smells pretty clean/seems to clean my floors really well. I use my iRobot Bravva 380t every other day to mop my floors and she Francesca does a great job. She works hard to try/please me. Between her Francesca (iRobot Bravva 380t) mopping every other day and Pierre (my iRobot 980) vaccuming my floor's everyday they both keep my floors very clean. I only have to put 1/2 tsp of the cleaning solution in the reservoir and add warm water/wet the microfiber cleaning cloth with warm water and set her up to clean and she does the rest!!!

A leer que es una copia me enfadé. Pero después de usarlo no tengo nada en contra de esta copia. Hay que decir que no conozco el original!

Great smell for cleaning my floors, Best product I can find,, Bought several times

Il detersivo per pavimenti di iRobot é un prodotto molto valido, ma bisogna usarne molto poco perché concentrato. La profumazione é gradevole, ma impercettibile.Particolarmente indicato nell'utilizzo di robot lava pavimenti (NON consigliato per lavaggi con stracci o mochi perché troppo caro).PREGI : totalmente privo di schiuma, leggermente profumato, non lascia aloni.DIFETTI : al momento non ne ho riscontratiCONSIGLI : personalmente lo utilizzo per il mio robot lava pavimenti di iRobot Braava 390T, ne aggiungo un pochino nel lavandino che ho riempito con acqua tiepida, immergo e strizzo (lasciandolo molto umido) il panno blu di iRobot e lo applico alla piastra (WET o DRY). Ogni 10/15 minuti (dipende dallo sporco del pavimento e se c'e' ancora acqua nel serbatoio) metto in standby il robot, sciacquo il panno nuovamente nell'acqua insaponata e lo rimetto sulla piastra. Ottengo dei risultati migliori diluendo il detersivo in grandi quantitá di acqua piuttosto che spruzzandolo (sempre diluito) direttamente sul panno blu. Al limite ne spruzzo un pochino, sempre diluito, solo su macchie particolarmente ostinate o secche lasciandolo agire qualche minuto prima di far passare il robot.É l'unico detergente (ad eccezione dell'aceto, sempre diluito in acqua) che la casa produttrice iRobot consiglia di utilizzare per i suoi robot lava pavimenti in quanto non rovinano il motore.Imballaggio, spedizione, consegna okRapporto qualitá/prezzo : molto caroSpero che la mia recensione e/o consigli siano utili.
