Plastic (no bevelling)The body of the lamp very lightweight, possibly plastic, not sure.The company wanted me to return it to China(£25, with no guarantee that they would refund postage) Only after getting in touch with Amazon, did I get an English return address and full refund!!This company sells several lanterns on Amazon.
