BROSCONE A0351 2 Pieces 1 Pair Suspension Front Shock Absorber Set Assembly Replacement Compatible with 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 Ram 1500

My only issue with them was during install the nut on one got super tight around the painted line on the shock, figuring it was just a paint glob I wrenched hard to break past it but it got tighter. Took the nut off and noticed the last thread on the nut didn’t get cut all the way, ended up needing to run a 12 1.5 tap into the nut and a 12 1.5 die over the shock to fix the damage. After that all was good, not a big issue for me as I have tap and die sets. I highly doubt this is a common issue from reviews, and a few bad apples slip past anyones quality control. I’d still buy these agin, and they are decent. Don’t be scared by my review and if you do have issues the thread on the shock and top bolt are 12 1.5.

Shock feels good and is a great replacement for my shock relocation.

These were installed on a 1999 Dodge Ram Laramie SLT. The bottom of the new shock is apx 3mm narrower than the OEM shock. This difference would probably have resulted in clanging, when going over bumps. To fix this, I installed a flat rubber washer (spacer) on each side of the mounting hole. Just be aware that if you buy these for the same vehicle, expect the same problem. I would have have returned these, but with one shock already off, it was easier to find a fix.
