Novogratz Marion Canopy Bed Frame, Black, King

Bought this bed frame almost a year ago and it is absolutely great! It was easy to put together and definitely stands out! Very sturdy and well designed. I will admit that it stand a little higher than I imagined but fits comfortably in our room. The canopy covering is sold separate from this frame but once you have one and have it sealed, it’s like being on a vacation in your room. Peaceful and beautiful

I purchased this a little over 4 years ago after my $3000 power base broke. I was so furious with the short lifespan of something so expensive (lasted 7 months) and after the manufacturer couldn't seem to care less, only being told in an email after a month of pestering them, they only told me to have someone repair it and submit the bill for partial to full reimbursement, IF they felt it was a covered failure. Ultimately I was lucky enough that the store I had leased it through would come and get the garbage at no cost and no penalty, and just waive the remaining payments, I decided to go this route.I actually attatched sheer curtains around the bed, allowing my dog to feel more comfortable at night. For some reason she doesn't like sleeping out in the open on the bed. She would rather sleep in something that represents a tent.Despite being made out of what seems like sub-par metal tubing, once put together properly, it is surprisingly sturdy. It has taken years of abuse, being taken apart and moved to 2 new apartments, it is still going strong. The coating on the pipes are durable, and easily cleaned. I can pretty much just bounce around and it hardly move more than any other bed would.For the price, it's unbeatable. Now that I am moving a third time, I've decided it's time to go another route, but I can't say that I regret it. None of the tubes that support the mattress have bent, none of the tubes over the top have bent (except during one reassembly when it slid off one post and bent on the end where the tube is flattened for the bolt hole) and it was easily bent back, and surprisingly, did NOT break

I’ve always wanted a canopy bed. However, many of them are expensive so I I’ve found this one and decided to give it a shot, plus I needed to upgrade to a king size anyway. For the price it’s great! Only cons are that it’s noisy when you move around and I don’t like the stickers on the bars at the top. The stickers are extremely hard to get off without leaving a mark. Other than that, it’s great and I recommend especially for the price!

Needed a bed frame with canopy at a low cost, but strong enough to last a few years. This frame is nice and reasonably sturdy. I think I made a good choice on this purchase.

Assembled the whole frame weighs around 5lbs or so it's very very light weight sounds good for moving it about but moving it about also it doesn't hold firmly together, the poles for the canopy make the bed very tall but one of the poles of mine were not drilled properly so I was unable to assembled the stunning feature of the canopy top. I now have a standard bed with exposed post that are on the headboard & foot board as I can't assemble the pole posts & canopy beams so I have to come up with some other way to live with this feature.The bed can be assembled mostly alone the only issue you need is a really high step stool to get up to the very high poles to screw in the bars that will go down vertically so if you are not tall you won't be able to reach it it feels like the poles are 7ft in height once put up.The color is a matte gold not a vibrant gold if you have to name a color tone it's more along the lines of a golden rod or vintage gold tone.If you plan to keep your box spring with this bed be warned it raises the bed up I'm 5ft 2in and it's at my hips if that helps you it is so high the upper main mattress is a good 3 inches above the foot board and nearly as height as the head board area the only plus to this increased height is it made putting the sheets on very simple and most the blankets can just fall over the foot board area but now I need to get step stool.
