Not bad. Handle could have a bit more weight/width. It’s like gripping two chopsticks it’s so thin. It has horrible balance. I had to wrap it in cord and gaffers tape to give it a better purchase and more weight. Still, it’s ok and I won’t return it as I like hammers.

Exactly what I was looking for. I needed a hammer to tap my woodworking pieces together and my leather mallet just didn't have the heft I needed. This hammer has the right amount of weight and the option of rubber or wood surfaces. Beautifully made and finished.

Only a japanese hand tool can be so unpretentiously perfect. It is very light yet still substantial enough, to do fine chisel work. The rubber side is soft enough to position something without marring it,, different than any other "soft" face hammer i know. I love it.
