Simian Insulated 40oz Water Bottle Travel Flask for Hot or Cold Drinks (Gray)

I like that it's half the price of the hydroflask but because of that, the quality isn't as great I guess. I received my flask already dented on the bottom.. At least it's still usable though. I also like that it comes with a carabiner!Update: Customer service was great! They emailed me a day or two after it got delivered asking if I had received my bottle, told them that I had but it was dented, then they sent me a new one immediately. The strap snapped off after about ten months of use and still doesn't keep water cold for as long as the hydroflask, but it's a nice bottle for people who aren't super picky.

I bought this for my husband because he does have another water bottle, but he's been using it for smoothies that he takes to work and we agreed it would be good if he had one for water as well. He really likes it. If I didn't already have a 40 oz Pogo water bottle, I would probably get this one. Maybe in the future.

I purchased from Carlton Global - received the flask with slight factory imperfections. Customer service sent me an email regarding my purchase and I replied. Not only were they understanding they stood by their products 100% and sent me a replacement flask. This is not only outstanding customer service but how business should be done in this competitive industry. I just want to say if you want to buy from a reputable dealer, this one is it! 5/5 stars for customer service and product support!The gray color flask I received did function and I was able to store ice cold water for 24 hours as stated in description. I have not tried hot liquids but I use it primarily for cold water. Excellent flask that is great to look at and fit and finish minus the chipping/pitting of the lip on the flask is excellent (due to factory defect). There is zero sweating from the outside of the flask whatsoever (ambient temperature in the summer now at the house is 85F) - and the lid DOES NOT SWEAT with ice cold water in the flask. Other flasks I've seen on YouTube does sweat not this Simian flask. The carbiner hook it comes with is plastic but does the job. The lid strap connected to the flask body is rubber but it's so thick you're not going to wear it out at all. You can use it to carry the bottle easily. The entire flask is robust and just excellent for the overall price you will not find better. The flask itself is weighted to be maybe a 1lb empty more or less but that's because it's 40oz size. Overall I would make another purchase again and would highly recommend this flask to anyone looking for a cold water container.The biggest question I had was whether or not this flask can hold cold liquid for at least 12 hours - it can hold for 24 hours easily! THough the ice has nearly all melted by 24 hours time but a small piece still remains and the liquid using my mouth to test is as cold as the water stored in my refridgerator. So rest assured if you want something to hold cold water this flask is it!

Bottle arrived slightly dented and had lost all of its insulation properties. This does not strike me as a particularly well-built product. I ordered three of these at the same time and the other two are working properly. We'll see if they stand the test of time.

It looks like it is made from great quality. There was a messy paint and spray on the rim of the bottle. I put ice cubes in it, closed it tight. they only lasted less then 2 hours. Disappointing. Just keep searching.

I ordered one of these for myself and also for my boyfriend. I received a name brand one as a gift but it was small and I needed a much bigger one for us because we both work outside and drink a lot of water. There is nothing more satisfying than a cold drink of water on a hot sweaty day and these bottles are just what you need for that. The water in them stays ice cold all day even in the Texas sun, which is brutal. Very good investment and could see myself buying more and giving them as a gifts.

Didn't taste or smell like melted plastic wrapped around dog poop like most water bottles before washing it seven times and I really appreciate that.

I now have 4,they are sooo good. Stay hot for hours
