I've never tried vegan jerky before and didn't know quite know what to expect. You could definitely tell these were made from mushrooms and had a more tender texture, but overall found it really enjoyable and liked the smoky flavor! My favorite flavor was the Sea Salt. I'll be ordering again!

As a mushroom lover, I've been trying out different brands of mushroom jerky just to see what's out there and I came across this brand.I've tried a few brands now, but this has to have been the most awful tasting mushroom jerky I've ever had. I got the best sellers variety pack that came with the following flavors: hickory smokehouse, maple mustard, and sea salt and cracked peppercorn. Having tried the 3 flavors, I would rank hickory smokehouse to be the worst of the three and sea salt with cracked pepper to be the best tasting.Hickory smokehouse is just terrible! I usually hate wasting food, but I just couldn't bring myself to finish this bag. I would have to agree with one other reviewer that this flavor tastes like how wet cigarettes smell. The smoke flavor is way too heavy and it's like you're eating straight up char. I'm not sure others would agree with me on this, but I actually prefer a softer chewier texture to mushroom jerky, so the hard leathery texture of this pack was not doing any extra favors for it. I felt bad for just tossing the entire bag in the trash after a few bites, but it was THAT BAD.The other 2 flavors were more tolerable and the texture of both maple mustard and sea salt were more preferable for me too. They weren't good, but they were not as bad as the hickory smokehouse either. These two were just "mehh."The types of mushroom they use for these jerkys are crimini and portobello. I usually like to try the orginal or least seasoned packs of jerky first to get a good idea of how the mushrooms would taste as they are, unseasoned. I find that crimini and portobello would not be my first choice when it comes to types of mushrooms used for jerky, but because of that, this might contribute to my opinion of this brand of jerky. It just doesn't taste very good to me, but maybe others who better appretiate crimini and portobello would prefer this brand over me (maybe not the smokehouse flavored one though, that flavor is still terrible in my opinion).TLDR; I wouldn't buy this again.

Love the ingredients used, really wanted to leave a good review, but they just do not taste good. Was scared to finish the bag, because I couldn't tell if they'd gone bad or if the flavor was that far off.

I put these on pizza before it’s baked and tastes like meat. Good flavor

The Hickory Smokehouse and Maple Mustard flavors tasted and smelled disgusting and were also really dry. The Maple Mustard flavor even had some white stuff on it that isn't present in the other two bags. The Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper one was the only one I didn't throw away. That one was moist and tasty. It's also worth noting that each bag has a different best by date. I wish I could get my money back because two out of the three bags tasted awful. My stomach doesn't feel so good after trying it either so hopefully I don't get sick. Won't be purchasing this again.

Love these! I no longer eat meat but used to love beef jerky. This mushroom-jerky product is not only tasty but the consistency is darn close to jerky - just not as tough. I bought a variety pack and all three flavors were really good. Enjoy.

I have tried other plant-based jerky and was surprised how much I disliked this one. The hickory smokehouse flavor jerky looks and smells burnt and the pieces are very hard to chew. It is not edible. Unfortunately I failed to read the company’s return policy before I purchased three packages of assorted flavors, and now I can’t get my money back. I did not bother to try the other two flavors. I am shocked that a company is actually selling this stuff.
