Easy replacement of stock tuners.
Dropped right in to my Squier Debut Strat -- replacing the lousy, cheap, hard-to-use tuners that came with the guitar!

Locking. And shiny.
These were easy to install on a new headstock. They add a little extra to the guitar that classic styles that I considered just would not do. Lining them up was easier than I thought. And it only takes one screw for each to set them in place.

I’m fine with them, you might not be…
I just received these today & finished drilling the holes for the screws. I haven’t used them yet but here’s what I know:I bought this set because I know that Wilkinson tuners are as good as Fender tuners at less than half the price, so I’m totally set with these. They look fine and they’ll do the job nicely. However - just to warn you, they’re gritty. The set I have seems like they’re a used & repainted set. The nuts all thread onto the tuners ok but when I tightened them down they seemed to be gritty, and after drilling the screw holes & removing the nuts there seemed to be what looks like a fine amount of rusty dirt on the ends of the threads from whatever’s in there, which is odd because the tuners turn fine. Weird. These tuners don’t have the kind of new polished shine that new Fender tuners have, but I have to say they’re pretty ‘beefy’ without any feeling of cheapness or looseness across the board. The guitar I’m building is intended to be a workhorse for practicing, so as long as they do what they should I don’t care if they shipped with cigarette burns on them, but if you’re looking for something highly polished & new looking, you’ll want to pass on these.I’m happy with them - to me they’re perfect, but I just wanted to give you a heads up if you read this review.

Very nice quality and great value
2004 Squier Stratocaster Standard. Not a “drop in” replacement for my guitar, but I knew that when I ordered. My guitar had the “2-peg” tuners stock, whereas these new ones have a screw instead. I simply had to line up all the tuners, mark the holes and carefully drill small pilot holes. No big deal. They seem to operate smoothly and hold tune. I also think the look great too.I only replaced my original tuning pegs because I was looking into some upgrades instead of buying a new guitar, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole and decided to change the look of the guitar while I was at it. Black output jack thingy, roller saddles, roller string trees, strap locks and tuners. I reused the original chrome nuts from my tuners.I also replaced the 500k pots with a “Gilmour wired” setup with 250k.Fun little project, but I still want a new guitar. Lol

Super smooth and nice quality!
I originally got these for a Tele I'm building, but they mysteriously ended up on my $75 Strat copy. ; ) They're a huge improvement over what came on the guitar, I hadn't figured on the difference being so big. Now tuning the guitar isn't an ordeal anymore. Will definitely be buying again!

Good quality. Nice finish.
Solid quality. Gear ratio works well. Black finish looks great on my refurbed stratocaster.

High quality low price ?
These tuners replaced some cheap Jackson tuners which had way to much slop in them but these Wilkinson tuners have no slop at all and work beautiful and they were a perfect fit highly recommend.

Inconsistent size
Just a heads up that these aren't all the same diameter. I had one that wouldn't fit any hole in a pre-drilled head stock. Luckily, I already had a tapered reamer from another project that sorted it out. Also note: These will not fit .052" strings. I had a spare set of Ernie Ball heavy bottoms and was unable to fit the low E string through the post. Luckily, I use lower gauge strings, but it's something to keep an eye out for.
