Beautiful edition and pristine book
This is a beautiful paperback edition. Initially I thought the illustrations would be at the end, but they are throughout the text, giving an even better "feel" of being the original 1868 version. The book itself is perfect. There were no bent pages or covers, no editing errors, no typeface issues or fading ink on any of the pages. Definitely worth the money. One reason I bought this particular edition is the font (which I could see in a user review picture) - it is graceful and also matches the "feel" of the book: not too big, not too small, and one that is much easier to read than the type of font used in cheaper book versions. A paperback is not going to last as long as a hardcover of course, and is more difficult to keep looking nice especially if you'll be carrying it around a lot, but a paperback is better for my needs. Two thumbs up!

Hadn't read this book since a young girl. So enjoyed being immersed into Louisa's world of Little Women again!

The book has more love and hugs, prayers and adventure.
Yes, the movie is good, Winona Ryder's version is not the only one filmed. There was one filmed in 1933, 1949, the 1970's and a BBC version filmed in the early 1990's. The book is very well written (I've read it several times),so don't be so quick to dismiss it just because you saw the movie. Reading can, in many ways, be better!
