This was my first light switch replacement, was very simple once I knew which wires went where as I have the old red and black, luckily my back box was deep enough to accommodate everything. Red wire is "L" and the black is "L1".

It would have been a great switch as I was looking for a standard on/off touch switch, this isn't smart and that was what I'm looking for. However after installing it, I noticed that when I turn off my Smart Bulb via Alexa or App, the switch shuts down too and so the smart bulb is unusable until I turn the switch back on manually. The way on/off switch work usually is that they keep electricity on until you don't press it but this on shuts down once it detects that the light is off, I guess it's a "smart" feature but it doesn't work well in smart homes.
