Q: Will this work with a Garmin Nuvi 200w?

I do not know specifically, but read a comment from someone else that said it did work well with his old Garmin Nuvi 200

Q: Will this work on Garmin Nuvi 255 GPS

We purchased 2 of these as replacement chargers on our 4 different Nuvi 225W and they work just fine.

Q: will this work on the Nuvi 260?

I can't answer this for sure. I would assume that all garmin power cords are universal but do some more research.

I have the Garmin Nuvi 50, and the cable that comes with it - and this one - is absurdly short. It doesn't reach from the cigarette lighter/12 volt plug and the windshield. My brother-in-law had a generic usb-to-usb mini, and it worked just fine. I have also used the cable from my old BlackBerry phone (which is also USB mini), and it worked fine too. It is NOT unique, and you should not have to rig anything up. A nice length USB to USB mini should work just fine. You can also connect/charge this at home, with any plug that has a USB mini end.
