I really like the carrier but when the carrier is open it collapses. My cat likes to go in and out of it at home but the open side closes down. I wish there were a wire or something in the openings to make them more rigid.

Totally surprised with the quality of this Carrier. It is far worth the selling price and then some. Its really nice and very well made.The only issue I have (and its not really even an issue) is the tabs that are on the zippers (they clip together to lock the zippers in place-closed) are really small and hard to grasp. I have issues with my hands and have hardly any strength or dexterity in them.This carrier is super rugged and the mesh lining is high quality. It seems like they have updated that considering it was kinda flimsy previously, according the older reviews.My cat actually was really curious about it and climbed in and immediately curled up and went to sleep. The soft plush bed that comes with it, is really nice and comfortable. She has plenty of room to stand or even turn around in it.I got the purple one and the color is really nice.I will go a little further and stencil her name on the outside so she can seem really fancy.I am really happy with this purchase and paid a lot more for my previous one that really wasn't half as nice as this one.If you are on the fence about which carrier to get...look no more. This one is really nice and it actually collapses for easy storage.So glad I found this

I rarely write a review, good or bad as I have very little time. I agonized over which soft-sided carrier to purchase. I finally purchased this one. I have used it on 2 round trip airline flights. On the 2nd trip, my dog busted the zipper while I was putting her in it in my vehicle in the parking garage. I was pretty panicked at this point. I was able to zip the other zipper all of the way around to work, but was pretty concerned how it would hold up for the rest of the journey. It did, but again I was pretty disappointed only having used it one other time. I like many of the other features onthe bag, but they definitely need to upgrade to better zippers.

This works so much better than the plastic carrier I used to have. The inner bedding comes out easily for cleaning, and he isn't sent skidding around inside the carrier like with the plastic one. While he's never pleased to be put in it for outings like the vet's, he does actually use it when it's out and left open for him. I think he really likes the way he can see out the mesh parts but hide behind the solid purple parts. The handle is comfortable enough for me, and it's easy to carry. This remains one of my best purchases I've made for my cat.

This is a very nice, well made bag. I got it for my cockapoo puppy- he was 4.5 lbs when I brought him home and he still fits with plenty of room at 8 lbs. I have taken him with me in the car and love that I'm able to buckle him in with the two straps on the back. I love all the zippered opening for different access points, and the pockets are useful for toys and training treats. He really enjoys it and it's held up really nicely to his puppy teeth- he loves to chew the strap and travel tag. The padding inside is nice and comfy and easy to take out and wash. He slept in it at night in my bed until the last few nights. He happily went inside, and I felt comfortable knowing he wasn't going to fall off the bed or get rolled on. Now he's big enough where I let him sleep on the bed without it, but he still likes to go inside some and hang out with the door open. I guess the only thing I don't love about it is that it collapses if it isn't zipped up. I have to prop it between something if I'm going to leave the door open.

It's the perfect size for our King Charles Spaniel, sturdy, and light (until you add the dog anyway). It stands up on its own so the top isn't falling in on him. I would test the seat belt straps to make sure they hold at whatever size you need, mine loosened up all the way then I pulled sharply on it (simulating the effect of stopping a car quickly), but did not let go. Maybe leave it loose or tighten and tuck it in to keep your traveling buddy from having a jolt if you need to hit the brakes.I previously ordered this bag and got one with some missed stitching holding the liner to the zipper door opening. I left a 4 star rating because of the defect, but otherwise the bag was even better than I had dared hope for the price. Customer Service read my review and contacted me, insisted on refunding or replacing for the defective bag after I sent a picture of it, and now I have both bags. The defective one will be fine for my cat on her infrequent vet visits as she's much less likely to gnaw on and shred the loose lining inside. Altogether a great company to purchase from, highly recommended for both product and service.

I needed a soft case that would fit under an airline seat for a 5hr flight... My kitty's first flight. This bag is just great. The padded bed is velcroed down so he won't bunch it up, and he seemed very comfy. I liked the extra mesh pocket on the back, I managed to fit a huge 40oz water bottle and a canister of his treats in it. The two little buckle straps on the bottom confused me.. They're pretty small and I couldn't think what they were for. I found a use for them anyway- I buckled two of his favorite toys along for the ride. The shoulder strap could be thicker but I've got a thick cat so that's probably on me. The best part.. Once we got on the plane, he fell asleep! I didn't drug him, he didn't meow the whole flight.. He just cuddled down and slept. So needless to say this carrier has replaced his crappy old grey plastic kennel, as it's much more comfortable both for him and me.
