I plan to use this to carry groceries from my car to my home. Is it sturdy to carry 30 lbs. of groceries?

I use mine for storage, but I’m sure that you can carry your groceries in it.

The description for the blue one says that it has two compartments but the picture shows that it has three. Which one is it?

It has 2 compartments, but you can use the insert to make it 3 compartments, Plus it has all these side pockets. I love mine. If you zoom in on the picture, you can see the insert.

Is it water proof? I need to carry foods in them sometimes they get knocked off and spill the contents?

I'm not sure, I think so, but I always put a kitchen size plastic bag in the bottom before I put milk or something that could spill and just leave them in. I hope this helps, I really do love mine, and am going to order another one. they fold down to nothing and pop out with ease. They also hold a lot. JSD
