When you need a quick snapshot of where your students are at in their reading, these reading tests are great. If your teaching, say, grade 4 - you'll want to get the grade 3,4 and 5 reading tests too match the reading continuum in your classroom. And, these other grades are available. I've really liked this resource.

After doing some of the tests and reviewing the answers at the back of the book, a few answers were incorrect.The subject matter was okay, but the directions were lacking.

bought the Reading Test booklet for my son. it's great! my kiddo loved doing these tests. short stories with 4-5 questions on each story followed by vocabulary questions. challenging enough, but doable.

These are quick and simple reading quizzes that help kids practice both their comprehension and vocabulary skills. It helps them practice referring back to the text to to verify their answers. They are also easy to mark. Good addition to a well balanced reading program.
