Worked great for me.

Cover is flimsy and hard to assemble through wall especially if you can't spin the whole unit to screw it on to pipe.

The box I received does not look like the photo on Amazon. The edges of the box are not folded and are very sharp. There are two notches in the base for the pipe connection. The mounting holes in the back do not allow fastening in a position the will allow the fittings to align with the pipe connection notches. I think the box I received must be an older design.In addition, the outlet box was damage with no indication of damage to the packaging. I think the hinge was damaged prior to packaging.I will make it work, but, but it did not live up to my expectations.

Burnaby makes the only gas outlet with a 1/2" valve that I could find, so it was basically my only choice. If I were to rate just the valve assembly, I would give it 4 out of 5.... as it works exactly as advertised and is great quality.Unfortunately the stainless case is junk. Stamped stainless with RAZOR sharp edges that fits the valve assembly poorly. Because of the reality of how gas lines are installed when mounting on the side of a house, the case does not align correctly without modification. I have installed three of these outlets and each time I had to modify the case back with sharp tin snips. Even after positioning the case correctly, the cover still hits the valve knob when turned off. On all three, I had to file the knob to make the cover close completely.For the price, the case should have folded edges for safety and be a thicker gauge. Even using gloves.... I cut my fingers on two of the three installs.

This is a well made gas outlet that provides exactly what I needed. I only wish that the shutoff valve was connected the gas disconnect. Overall very happy with the purchase.

This thing is well made. I did not recive the same upper strap like shown in the picture. I got a copper sheet metal strap. I dont know if I did not put the box and valve in the right place but when the valve is off the lid wont close all the way. I am planning on taking off the ball valve handle and sanding it down so it fits.:edit: After 6 months this is starting to rust. :(

Good quality quick connect gas valve. Easy to install. The lid is a little flimsy and does not close well. Kind of flaps in the wind but I am not worried about it.
