A MUST for Bourjois Pencils
I bought the Bourjois 'Velvet' pencils thinking that the regular stationery sharpner I have already, for thick and thin pencils, will work!It didn't.Found out the makeup pencils shape is different from stationery pencils!Really frustrating as my lip pencils were all used up and required sharpening, and I know from other reviews that some people had thrown away their pencils not knowing that there was a lot more lipstick inside!Bought this sharper, and it was a life saver - not only for my Bourjois Velvet pencils but other lip and eye liners too, which get slightky damaged in a regular sharper!This handy little sharpner is not too massive and space consuming, fits nicely in the bag if required - bright pink colour makes it easily visible.The blades are sharp but safe due to the cover and the cover keeps the pencil shreddings inside until you're ready to clean it.There's a little white blade scraper as well, neatly tucked on the sharpner beside the blades (initially i didn't realise it was there) but I haven't had a chance to use that yet.The Amazon app won't let me add pics (🙄) otherwise I would've put them up, as the little scraper is easy to miss.Overall, this is one to keep in the makeup box.There seem to be less costly non branded versions available on Amazon as well, but on this occasion I didn't take a chance!I might try them too at some point, for comparison.

Can’t get the sharpener anywhere so thought I’d try Amazon so pleased I can get them, normal pencil sharpeners are no use with eye pencils

Not as red as shown
Product itself works and is good, however was a bit disappointed by the fact a pink sharpener arrived instead of a red one.

It’s not the same as the photo.
The sharpener I received was a translucent one but that’s ok, very sharp & cleans easily with a cotton bud. When sharpening Bourjois eye pencils use GENTLY or it will EAT your pencils!

Not worth the money
I’m afraid that after a short time in use this pencil sharpener is in the bin along with my eyebrow pencil!It stopped sharpening my eyebrow pencil and then broke it. I am disappointed as I previously had a different type of Bourjois sharpener for a long time until it fell apart. I have decided in future to use an eyebrow pencil that doesn’t require sharpening!
