Feel secure now that we have protection!!
After seeing the show about car jacking for semi wealthy people over seas and just how easy it is for anyone to hack into your vehicles especially keyless entry were they can use a program ont their laptops to decode the auto start and keyless entry I really thought about the time I was driving in New England when suddenly my navigational system went crazy and I found myself lost. I was according to the navigational system driving in the ocean. No land in sight. I've heard on the news how easy it is for hackers and your enemies to take control of your car. I thought I was for sure going to end up being hijacked and no one would know it or find me as the navigational system was saying I was in the Sound. Not even the right state. We live in a gated community that's soo corrupt most of the breaking are from the communities public safety. Since we have been their target of choice lately breaking and entering my home steeling my jewelry and more not to mention hacking our security system and using my home when we're away to entertain their snobby defiant unruly friends I told my husband this would be their next move. We also had a device installed that would cut off the power after 2 minutes of hijacking the car. Unless you have backup security today such low level people will try almost anything. After talking to a friend who is a police officer he said the more security you have installed the more likely the their will give up. If they can't get your vehicle in 3 minutes they abort the idea of steeling your car. This arrived yesterday as expected and we immediately placed both the auto start. and key gob into this and we the tried it. We could NOT open the door nor start the car from close up or inside the house. We feel better knowing the low level people who call us scum beneath their feet can't get their hands on the car. This is a must for today's technology is far too advanced for our own good. This also protect our credit and bank cards from those low level people that having nothing better to do than prey on others to support them. I had some one steel my name, address, phone number and checking account information from a grocery store discount and cash checking card. Thank the Good Lotd my bank caught it before the transaction went thru. Over the last 17 years we've had our identity stolen and money spent from a hometown diner and 2 gas stations. We can't get our I'd and credit rating back nor the $150.00 from tele floral the guy from the gas station sent to the girl who was his accomplice. But we did recover $8000,00. Sad part about these incidents not one person was prosecuted as its not a high priority to law enforcement. We understand they are busy with more serious issues but when they know who it is and where they live and even spoke to them a crime is a crime and they should pay. Especially the merchant who agreed that we did NOT order the flowers. The law actually lets them get away one time. Is this not messed up? Don't be a victim of these low level people. Protect yourself now.

The back compartment works, the front one (for key fob) does not appear to...
I carefully read the reviews before ordering. Some said it works. Others said it doesn't. Turns out, it's both. The pouch contains two compartments. They are both supposed to provide blocking of RFID signals. One, in the front, contains the chain for the key fob, and presumably is supposed to be used for the key fob. It absolutely did not block the RFID signal, and I was able to open my car with the key fob in it. The other, in the back, is supposed to be used for credit cards and the like, and works like a charm. When I placed the key fob in that compartment, it blocked the signal every time. It seems like both compartments are lined with the same fabric, so I'm not sure if the reason is that the back compartment is deeper and thus envelopes the key fob more effectively, or if the reason is something different. Otherwise, the pouch feels and looks nice, and it's a shame I may have to send it back because I have a hard time putting the key fob with the keys I need in the back pouch, with the chain extending over the top of the back pouch out of the front pouch. I am also concerned with the durability of the velcro over the long run. A magnet clasp, a snap, or even a zipper might last longer. Just a suggestion for future design.

Works ok only in certain situations
I bought this specifically so I could lock my "intelligent access" keys in the car. Ford offers the option to unlock from a number pad on the pillar on my car. I want to be able to secure everything in my car and not have to carry anything on me some times. This works, but only in certain parts of the car and only if the key fob is inserted in the back pocket and shoved all the way down. I'm always in the habit of double checking that things are working correctly before I leave the car because of this shortcoming. I leave mine in the car all time, that's all that I need. However, if I did want to use it all the time, it takes up too much room in my pocket.

Hey I own a little useless brown bag now...yay!
I am starting to believe there is a cottage industry for people making reviews, which isn't cool. I rely on reviews to give impartial and valuable data on something from people who have used this item and give realistic and accurate feedback. This is an important item, as it secures your car from theft and should work. Simply put this product fails to do what it says it will do, and that is the end of that conversation. Who cares what it looks like if it doesn't work, look how awesome this bag looks to capture my tears from all the things stolen out of my car. I am the proud owner of a little brown bag to carry my cats gloves in or something like that, I am outside the return window. So, protecting people from wasting money I guess is my calling - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM IT DOES NOT WORK! All these reviews that are 5 star, look at their history, all their reviews are 5 stars, why I think that there is some stay at home paid reviewer system. Sorry, I work and I value my money, and want others to know the truth, this product simply doesn't do what it said it does - an umbrella that doesn't block the rain is my analogy of this. You have been warned, trust your instincts Jedi and move along to the next product.

This is an awesome fob holder
This is an awesome fob holder. Works well in that when the fob is inside the carrier, the car won't start. The signal is blocked, so I have to take the fob out in order to start my car. I feel safe that my signal is not hijacked by a reader. It would be even better if that had a belt loop connector, but I still make it work, and feel comfortable that no one else can jack my signal.

Faraday bag works well Update: A metal can does a better job.
Works well, if you make sure to completely close/fold over the top cover. If the cover was not velcro-ed close, I could still unlock the car.Not five stars, because I had to reattach the key chain.Bought three Faraday bags, and I'm very satisfied.Wish I'd done so, before the GPS was stolen.Update: Another GARMIN was stolen.

Works as described for the inner pocket. The outer pocket did not block RFID signals. I tested it as soon as I received the holder.
