I have never purchased an auto sunshade before but I have used them in other people's cars before and I hated them. They were so frustrating to properly install in the windshield. I live in Miami, FL so I decided that it was time to have a proper shade, why go through the torture of getting into a car that is super-heated, plus the last two cars I've owned had significant damage done to the steering wheel due to the sun. This Covercraft shield, however, is great! It fits my car perfectly, I can have it installed in literally 2 seconds and, best of all...it works! The inside of my black upholstered car is exponentially cooler than it was without the shade and I am hoping that it will prevent my leather wrapped steering wheel from getting damaged like the car I had before this with no shade. I am pretty sure it will do that and more.

IMHO the "fit" for the 1st gen Volt is unreasonably inaccurate (they include a warning paper saying it won't be an exact fit, but it barely stays on, so it's outside of reason). Lazy design. Charge a tad more and do a true exact fit. Returned and got the GM official sunshade that I didn't know existed when I purchased this.

I live in Phoenix and window shades are a must have.This is my first custom window shade ... bought it for my Chevy Volt, the gold color nicely matches up with the new Chevy Logo.It doesn't fit as good has I had hoped, but yes, its by far the best Heat Shield I have ever owned.

Fits OK. The shape is right but covers only about 90% of the windshield. Not as well as one I bought for my Fiesta from another company. Also gets warm when in the car.

I love these covers! this is the only one (out of dozens over the years) I have ever purchased that is durable and actually fits. I purchased one for our BMW Z4 and was so happy with the purchase I bought one for my daily driver Chevy Volt and my wife's F-150. Perfect fit in each case and easy to store. I am 100% satisfied with this windshield cover, it is the only one I will buy.

Great price and quality. It fills the windshield of my 2013 Chevy Volt almost perfectly. It folds away and folds out easily too. Fold the visors down and it is in place until I get ready to drive again. Better than the cardboard versions I used in the past as this one is covered with a nice finish and a silver reflective cover faces the glass side to reflect the suns rays.

Great quality. Does a great job of protecting the car from the sun. Only reason I don't give it five stars is because it is not easy to store because of its large size so it doesn't fold small.

I purchased 2 of these in the past for my other vehicles and never had an issue with with either windshield. This one I just purchased for my Chevy Volt is not a quality product. I paid over $60 for something that I would never recommend to a friend. Some of the panels seem to look perfect but as you can see in the pictures some of the panels have bends in the material. Not a very happy customer!
