You can use both Bluetooth and TSC at the same time. Heat activated polyurethane foam ear tips block 26dB of noise so your hearing is always protected, even if you are not connected to Bluetooth.

Q: What is Tactical Sound Control? Can it be turned on/off?

TSC is a level-dependent technology that uses omni-directional microphones to allow safe sounds to actively pass through the product while blocking harmful gunshot noise. TSC volume can be turned up, down, or off from the control module.

Q: Are the silicone eartips the same for hearing protection?

The eartips that come with ISOtunes Sport earbuds have been tested for a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR). The ADVANCE BT has a NRR of 26 dB while using the foam eartips or a NRR of 25 dB while using the triple flange silicone eartips.
