Perfect. Must have been designed by a woman.
I’m a small adult female and I like this particular pepper spray bottle because it’s small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, and It’s really light weight. The all-black color is low-profile and doesn’t scream “pepper spray” so I can carry it while on a walk or through a parking lot without looking paranoid. I like that I can clip it to my waist band or to a purse pocket, and it’s tight enough to stay put but easy to pull off quickly if needed. The cap is secure and great for safety (no one wants to pepper spray yourself!) but it’s also easy to bypass for usage. I can get my finger under the cap and on the trigger without a problem. I did a practice spray to see what to expect, and the stream reaches at least ten feet and the trigger doesn’t require much pressure to press. I bought each of my adult daughters one as well!

Great For EDC
Perfect size and form factor for every day carry. I have thankfully not had to use it yet but, it is very easy to carry in a pocket with the integrated clip which keeps it clipped inside a pocket for easy deployment with no real concern for accidental activation. The three pack at a good price was the right option to be able to keep them in multiple places to always have one available to grab and go.

It works
I received my POM oc 16 days ago. I was put in a situation nearly 24 hours ago where the POM oc had to be nearly completely emptied, utilized to its fullest to stop an aggressive man. This man was clearly aggressive but being put in the situation I was in, where I must be there and being 17 and this man claiming he is 40, it wasn't really the best situation for me. Though I am a tall and fairly well built he was also tall and it limited my options with my skill set. I wanted to keep it a calm discussion but he pushed me and kept advancing resulting in a direct shot to his eyes for a solid 3/4 second. He kept advancing on me and actually made it to my car which I was planning on using as a means to escape the direct threat. However, with the window being down and not wanting to take the time to attempt to roll it back up, he did manage to throw it back in park before it started to take effect. Though, according to 2 videos of the encounter, this was less than 10 seconds from the time he is hit to the time he is nearly instantly put down from this very angry aggressive, adrelialine infused mindset, to just wanting the pain to stop. Thought 10 or so seconds is a considerable amount of time, I didn't use it as soon as I should have. Resulting in him making it to my vehicle before it took affect. Investigating officers said had I used it when he "postured", he would not have been even close to making it to my vehicle avoiding him being able to actually put his hands inside the drivers compartment. I do have to thank its design though. It stays in your pocket clipped in, and I practiced my draw so I was competent with it. I was able to draw it, and deploy it in a solid single motion without thinking about it, which is great because I think I was too stressed to be able to think about it. Great design and as long as you understand when you should use it, and how it works you should be golden. I had never sprayed it or even showed it to stop a threat or even test it. I only practiced my draw. First time getting it out and first time using it at the same time. Still crazy to think about. If anyone says it is weak or has poor range....boy are they wrong. Even after using it for maybe about 12 seconds or so (between the first spray and while in my vehicle) and cops actually had to keep it as evidence so they sprayed it and it went about 10-15 feet, it was hard to tell due to lights and stuff. But considering it wasn't close to full I think that is more than respectable and this was actually angled against the wind. Plenty of things I have learned from a real life defensive use encounter that will only advance my skills. People can judge it based on the amount it carries, the stream it sprays, and the distance it sprays. But until they actually need it and it works flawlessly like it did for me. I really just have to say their opinion doesn't matter. What matters is that assuming you know how it works, you will get a perfect result and that is, at the end of the day, what you're probably looking for. Absolutely recommend to everyone.

perfect daily carry OC spray - great customer service
I have carried these for years, replacing them whenever I lose one (read below) or one expires on me. I spent quite a while researching what you ACTUALLY want in an oc spray, as opposed to what marketers tell you you want. i also carry a pistol daily, but i have found experientially that spray will cover 90% of violent problems that awareness/talking your way out/running won't solve. the gun is something i will use if i have to, but i obviously would prefer not to. the spray falls in this (very large) defensive space between retreat and shoot. this is perfect for several reasons:-good percentage of capsaicin. the hotter the better. this is what you want.-it's a spray, not a gel or a mist. the spray is superior to a hard to aim gel or an easily dispersed/shorter range mist. the 10-15ft squirting spray is most reliable.-all that UV dye crap is BS. you don't need it. i dont even know if this has it; feel free to ignore this marketing gimmick. it's a quaternary concern at MOST when considering a defensive spray.-slim profile. you want it to be as light and easy to carry as possible. not carrying your self defense spray means you don't have it. this is very easy to carry.-user friendly. it's got a safety mechanism thats easy to use and that will prevent NDs while not getting in the way in a defensive situation.-carry clip: the only reason this loses a point is because the clip isn't as robust and snug as a cheap potmetal leafspring clip might be. i understand this is cheaper, so it's really not a big deal. still, the clip has caused me to lose the spray once or twice over five years. not ideal, but superior to a lack of any carry clip. it gives you a solid option for carry, but it could be better.-cost: it's great how cheap it is for this quality-customer service: the carrier lost my order, and the company immediately made it right.I have used many sprays over the years, but for the past five plus years, this is what i have both used and handed out to friends and family. I always test function a new spray before i carry, and I've never once had a lemon from this company (and, again, I've bought a LOT from them).tl;dr This is the optimal OC spray for daily carry, and I believe every person should have one.
