I decided to purchase white millet because the birds love it and because most store bought seed mixes have way too much milo seed, which none of the birds wants to eat. The order came very quickly and the millet was high quality and very clean. I usually mix the millet with unsalted shelled and unshelled sunflower seeds, whole unsalted peanuts and peanut pieces, sometimes bits of dried fruit (raisins, cranberries), sometimes cracked corn and the ground-feeding birds love it. Right now the millet mix is attracting cardinals, red-winged black birds, finches, chickadees, sparrows, mourning doves, blue jays, and even a wild bunny. If you compare the price to store-bought bird seed mix, I think you make out just as good if not better because you're getting pure millet without all the wasteful fillers like the aforementioned milo/sorghum seed. None of the birds in my yard will touch milo, so it used to sit on the ground, slowly killing the grass and creating "bald" spots on the lawn. That's when I decided to go the millet way -- right away the cardinals started coming; they like both the millet and when sunflower seeds are mixed in. The birds are happy over here, thank you!Lastly, I wrote to the company with a question and received a quick, friendly response. I will definitely be back for more!

We mix this with bird seed for larger birds and it allows the small ones to eat as well.

They contacted me within 30 minutes, refunded my order and shipped another bag of millet to me at their expense. It was at my door two days later. I was pleased to find clean, white millet in a nice, sturdy bag.I will order from Valley Farms whenever I can!

The media could not be loaded.  When I first put this seed out the birds pretty much ignored it but now it seems it attracts all the sparrows of the neighborhood. They’re constantly fighting to get on the feeder. I typically have to refill this feeder once a week because it’s a nonstop feeding frenzy on the feeder. I will be buying this seed again.

I like that it’s pure millet no mix but is a little pricey compared to local feed store.

Good bulk size. I use it to feed doves and small birds like finches; considerably more $ than other bulk seed I buy (sunflower, safflower, & nut mix) but this is a quality millet seed without milo or other fillers so is a good supplement for specific species. Shipper seems reliable over first few shipments.

There was a problem caused by the shipping company. When I alerted the seller, the problem was handled courteously and professionally.The Quail and their chicks that we feed approve heartily of the millet.
