Gorgeous green color. Holds( 2) 1 /2 cup sticks of butter or( 1 )cup European style block. Ran thru dishwasher several times, still looks great.

Wildly overpriced oversized butter dish
It’s Le Creuset. It’s heavy. It’s pretty. And it’s expensive. I wanted a butter dish that could hold 2 sticks or a brick for my Irish butter and this did that. Green color, it’s actual name I can’t recall, it a very pretty dark 1990’s ivy green which is exactly what I was hoping for. Only drawback, is that a butter knife will not sit on the side of the dish without moving the lid back a bit. Not a huge deal but there it is.
