Works great just wish it had more transfer ports. And work with Mac.

This replaced an older, similar device (USB type A, this one is a Type C) that suddenly became unreliable - the old device mounted and then randomly unmounted the memory card on my Mac's desktop so often that I could not use it. This device - used 1x so far - mounted quickly and transferred images to the Mac quickly as would be expected from a Type C device. My one criticism is the fairly short cable length between the body of the device and the Type C plug but that is very common for these kinds of devices. Overall, I am happy and look forward to using this memory card adapter.

I just shot a small wedding & when I plugged in my SD card to offload the images I discovered that my previous card reader decided to quit on me. Thought I’d give this small one a try & am really surprised with the performance. Literally PLUG & PLAY. It transferred 483 raw images (48-60mb each) to my external hard drive in maybe 10 minutes? It’s super compact & for less than $10, I’ll be ordering a handful to keep as backup. Great little workhorse for backing up on the go.

Photos pop up once SD card is plugged in but then immediately disappears and you can’t transfer any photos. Even when you get the chance to try and import it, the whole thing closes on you in the photos app once you try to click anything. So frustrating.

Nützlich, leicht, kompakt und macht was es soll 👍🏼 Ich hatte noch von damals einige SD Karten von unserer alten Kamera. Diese Fotos wollte ich mir auf dem Handy anschauen und auch downloaden. Und es hat wunderbar geklappt. Auch auf dem iPad geht es. Man kann die Bilder dann unter Dateien ansehen. Man kann leicht und schnell von SD Karte auf das Handy übertragen und auch andersrum. Cooles Teil, würde es wieder bestellen.

If you are on the Apple ecosystem, you’ve probably found yourself with enormous amounts of pictures, screenshots and miscellaneous items in your photo folder. To copy them to an SD card on this device, first select the photos in the Photos folder, click the arrow up box, bottom left. Scroll down and choose “Save to files”. Then choose from the popup window your SD card on this device. Click save. After they are copied over you can delete them from your iPhone/iPad. Then put the SD card in a PC and copy them to your PC.
