I bought these to go with all the Trai track sets I bought. My grandsons love them! Sturdy, well made and perfect addition to our trains.

I was surprised to find how hard, and expensive, it was to find carriages to go with Thomas the Tank Engine magnetic wooden trains. These were the perfect solution. Great price, and five carriages have kept my son very happy. My only criticism would be that the red pieces are plastic. I'd much prefer all wood, or at least recycled plastic to be used on these kind of kids toys. Perhaps something the company can look at for future toys?

Very good value to add additional trains to your WOODEN RAILWAY system. These trains are meant to be used with wooden train tracks. We peronsally own Thomas & Friends, Brio and Ikea track and these trains run on all of those tracks. To get full play out of these cars, it would be best if you already own or are planning on owning a magnetic crane (like Cranky). These DO NOT come with a crane, you must purchase one seperately. They are an easy and cost effective way to add general cars to any set and increase the amount of play a child can do with a magnetic crane. All of the cargo can be removed and replaced with other seasonal or fun items to lengthen play. They are very well made and they feel substantial. The look/syle of them matches Thomas & Friends seamlessly.

We have a kidcraft train table (from walmart), track from various name brands and this train is great! Thomas trains and others all work well with this set. Mt son got cranky the crane for his birthday and this train and cargo are awesome! Much cheaper than other brands but same great wood quality. I love how all the cargo has magnets and comes out of the train car. Thanks!
