I used this product to seal a gold leaf wall and it performed exactly how I hoped. The lacquer went on smoothly and dried crystal clear without altering the color of the leaf. The gloss finish actually enhanced the richness and shine while providing a strong protective coat. It was easy to work with, low odor, and the final result looks very professional. Highly recommended for anyone sealing gilded surfaces or decorative finishes.

This product is excellent

I really like this Polyvine crystal clear Lacquer, ordered it to varnish coasters and place mats, works well on both, no sticking or heat marks with 3 thin layers. Tried mixing some pigments with it and found that works really well too, paint the whole coasters with that and get the vibrancy and protection in one. Also tried it with acrylic paint, again works well, then tried with some acrylic and glue mix...that was interesting, it clumps and gives some wonderful textures (or a mess, depending on your view point). Love this and have already ordered more.

Haven't used it yet and it'll probably be a while till I do. However, I'm giving 5 stars as it was: what I wanted, easy to find, affordable and will probably be useful for other items that need a lacquer coating in addition to the small project I bought it for.
