18 months later
Here's what my master plaster fixed car seat looks like after 18 months of sitting on it. I'll probably buy another one when this one wears out.

Incredible method of upholstery repair, two thumbs up
I'd been looking at a tear in the seat of my truck for about four years until I finally came upon this solution. The tear is in the highest wear section of the seat, right by the door where you slide in and out of the cab. Due to the high amount of friction in this spot on the upholstery, I figured any repair would peel off quickly. Not the case with MastaPlasta. It's held on perfectly so far, matches my seat, and was cost effective. Soon after I bought the product, my black lab then tore two more holes in the back seat with her claws while going berzerk barking at another dog on the sidewalk. Slapped on another MastaPlasta patch left over from the first sheet I ordered, and it was almost like new. I never run out of gratitude for useful, original, well designed, easy to use and affordable products like this one.

Beautiful at first but longevity is an issue
It was almost in discernible that it was a patch so in that regard it really did its job. The problem is though in the Florida heat and sun that it only lasted about 2 years before it just peeled away

Fixed my Gaming Chair
I tried a couple of adhesive patches but stumbled upon MastaPlasta. I ordered a couple of days ago and received it promptly. I decided to get the 8" x 11" sheet. I had a large tear to repair. It was my intention to cut it to size, but I found a new crack forming. Instead of cutting I decided to apply the whole sheet, since I was going to sit on it for hours on end. The adhesive is very sticky. The material matched my chair pretty good. The one thing to know is it is a matte finish. This is a little different then the existing material, which is a semi-gloss. This didn't matter to me. I wanted to make sure the tear didn't get any bigger. Now that I have it applied I'll see how well it holds up. Another review will follow in a few months, letting all know how it is holding up.

Love it
I bought a black 8x11 sheet to widen the calf of my leather boots. They were perfectly good boots, but no longer fit my calf. Rather than spend $150++ on new wide calf leather boots, and rather than spend $40++ on cheap faux leather boots, I paid $17 for a leather-like adhesive to patch my boots. I ripped the back seam of my boots about 5 inches down so they would fit my calves again, and wanted something to cover up the ripped exposed seams. I considered buying scrap leather and sewing it into place, but was concerned because the size, color and grain of scrap leather varies and I wanted the same finish and dimensions for both boots. One sheet of this was just enough to cover each side of the exposed back seam on my boots. Now my boots fit me again, and look like cool pirate boots instead of boots that are falling apart. I was amazed at how well the masta plasta matched the color and grain of my real leather boot. Nobody notices until I point it out. Very pleased!

This now looks much better than using electrical tape and will hopefully keep the ...
My SUV had a tear at the seam in the middle of the driver’s seat. I cut the patch but left larger than needed to insure enough surface for the patch to bond. The patch was installed about a week ago and so far, I don't see any edges peeling up. The patch adhesive is very sticky so use caution when applying. I peeled back half the patch first to line it up and get half of the patch set to the seat before peeling the other half off. I used rubbing alcohol to remove all adhesive from the electrical tape (pervious patch attempt) and made sure the area was very clean for proper adhesion. I will report back if this patch fails or any problems happen over the next few months. The color was very close to the original seat and the only major difference is the dots on the original leather seat which don't match. This now looks much better than using electrical tape and will hopefully keep the seat from getting any worse.
