My 6 year old daughter LOVES these books. She has many sets and a few on Audible. The stories are all so great and engaging. I love buying her these books to read together.

I homeschool my son and ordered these books for him to read. We started with book 1. They are 10 Chapters each. He can easily get through 1 book a week. He enjoys these books - so it’s never a struggle to get him to read. It’s very engaging for kids, let’s them read with imagination. I definitely recommend!

This set has been great for my 7yr old to get into reading. There are some words that he needed help with, but ultimately, he did well with the first 12 of this series.

Actually, I'm buying this series of books for two sets of grandchildren. When I started, it was to excite them about the world of books, rather than TV and video games. This series was recommended by my sister who is a teacher's assistant in a pre-school. The endeavor has been successful so far. One of the grandchildren had stated that he never wanted to learn to read! Now he is doing very well reading in school and is developing a passion for books. He carries HIS books everywhere. Another reads the books to his younger brother and they both have improved their skills in school. These books are great for starting children on a life-long path of reading!

My 7 year old grandson and I have been reading these books for about 9 months. We started with #1 and are now on #14. The books are about a young brother and sister and their adventures. Each book is 10 chapters with some pictures. My grandson could only read a couple lines by himself when we started, but he now reads whole pages on his own. He's learned alot about history, other countries and their customs without realizing that he's learning. I would definitely recommend this book series.

These books are GREAT. They're easy to read, but not dumbed down. The characters have adventures, but they're "not too scary" (a high compliment from the 8-year-old who made me turn off Frozen). They give interesting glimpses into history and different cultures. They make really great first chapter books! I started out reading them at bedtime, two chapters at a time, but that apparently wasn't fast enough, because they disappeared into the kids' room and two days later they demanded I order the next four.

My 7year old son loved these books, he would read them non-stop. Each book has a touch of science/history as well

Good quality of book and package

This series is an excellent one for beginning readers. The adventures hold children’s interest, and are at a suitable reading level for early independent reading of chapter books. My granddaughter loves them!
