1/2 and full bull nosed a combined 220+ feet of 2" capstone, Sanded and polished 190 Sq ft
Used for over 100 hours and it's still going strong. If water was up too high or splash was towards the power cord or motor body, if they got super soaked you get the electric zing. Speed control got hard to turn about 60 hours in but might be due to contamination. Cover speed control and wrap power cord at motor end with electrical tape to help keep water out of motor.

Basic tool, major flaw
This tool does a great job of wet grinding. That isn’t why it’s losing stars. There is no way to remove the pad. Perhaps I should clarify - there is no button lock for the axle, which is fine at this price point. However, the design puts the axle nut behind not only the collar of the applicator pad, but also behind the water shroud. This tool does not come with the quick release shroud as indicated. It is a solid rubber surround with a band clamp. In and of itself this is not a problem, but because they didn’t include a lock button and they buried the axle nut, you have to remove the applicator pad to remove the shroud to expose the axle nut to remove the applicator pad. See the problem? The only way to stop the axle is to wedge something into the plastic fan blade. Luckily these tools are rarely torqued very well and the fan blades did the job fine. But this is not a long term solution. And if your tool has the pad torqued appropriately you’ll have to either cut the shroud, destroy the pad, or break your fan to change the applicator.Would not buy again.

Leaks but worked
The piece that connects the hose to the polisher leaks. There is a gasket inside the hose connector but it's worthless, they really need a gasket that seals the hole between the threaded section and the smaller hose. It's designed to swivel which is good but without any way of sealing the water it just leaks. Had I been working outside I would have pushed through but I was inside grinding my new kitchen countertop.I should have tested the unit and bought a new female hose connector fix the leak but I didn't so I made it work. I ended up using a bucket and a sponge to keep the concrete wet. It ended up turning out well.

very high quality tool
arrived nicely packaged, unlike most amazon items. this was individually packaged in a very nice box from the manufacturer.... much appreciated. and the tool itself is very nice quality and has many additional heads. will last a long time. nice hook ups for water. nice!

Its works but.....
Does work good, good power, good variable speed control. Downside? No button or insert to remove pad. Mine came slightly damaged but I have to try n hit a wrench hard enough to break free? The splash guard is kinda obtrusive. It does not allow constant full even contact with the surface area of the pad. It pushes down n out of the way with force but still difficult to use. Polishing a half round or bull nose for me will be quite difficult n annoying. Splash guard is a must as the motor casement is open and open forward instead of the backside of the case. The handle grip is incredibly large, and cumbersome to hold. Very much so. If your a pro, your use to name brand tools such as I typically use Marita polishers, this one will be of no comparison. If your a backyard diy looking to tackle a few jobs at home it will suite your needs ok until the day you have to remove the backer disc. And the other thing I don't like, the shroud is not removable without somehow removing the backer plate or cutting it off!? Honestly I'd look at these features when looking elsewhere.....

Effective
Really really liked the tool. One downside I wish was different would be a press button lock to stop the head from spinning when switching the adapter off. It takes more time than needed to pull out the two wrenches and tighten them down. I would pay to have the button added. Wink, wink to the manufacturer. Speed adjustments were plenty, water adjustments were easy, power was steady and consistent. I did have problems with water leaking at the garden hose attachment. Solved it with teflon tape. Easy to operate. I did grind down the wrench to make it narrower so it fit on an angle as It wasn't a straight on reach to stabilize the shaft of the tool.
