Thought I’d try out an alternative to oats as a pre workout, the texture was gritty and left a horrible aftertaste! Packaging was nice but that’s about it!

I have an intolerance to wheat and oats, and I really miss porridge.After researching loads, I came across this stuff, Cream of rice. I’d never heard of it before, but thought I’d give it a go.You can pretty much mix it with most things to flavour it, and it has the consistency of baby food, which is great because I love baby food!I mix with honey, cinnamon and slice banana for my lunch, and it’s so yummy!I highly recommend this.

Cinnamon was VERY strong. Tried it on its own, then tried it with chocolate whey protein mixed and the cinnamon is too overwhelming. Good packaging and good price but flavour was not nice at all. Would be open to ordering again but don’t recommend this particular flavour

I wanted an alternative to porridge so I thought I would give it a try. At first I was disappointed with the results cooking as instructions on the packaging (in the microwave). I tried cooking it on the hob in a pan with as much hot water (used much more than reccomended amount) constantly stirring and wow! So much more volume, the taste was much improved, and it kept me full much longer! The millionaire shortbread flavour is lovely and I am going to try cinnamon next. It mixes well with my caramel protein powder too.4 stars due to microwave cooking instructions on the pack. If I hadn't tried on the hob I might not have been a repeat buyer!

I like the idea of this product especially as an alternative to oats etc however the strawberry flavour I bought is unpalatable. It is far too sweet. I tried adding salt to try and balance the flavour but unfortunately it can’t be saved. I think a subtle strawberry would be far nicer than this one. Also because it is so sweet it tastes like chemicals

This stuff tastes terrible. If you’re just wanting it for the macros then that’s fine, but it’ll make your tastebuds suffer.

Comparing to the other cream of rice products the cheapest zero sugar low in calories and very tasty as it’s give big volume to eat when in ur high deficit calories 10/10
