The fish love it.
Installed it in 30 degree weather the day it arrived. This replaced a pump had died after 6 years of non-stop use - of course just as winter kicks in. It was 10 degrees and dropping tonight, still running strong.

Little Giant is a pretty well made product. This is my second one.
Good pump for the money if you only need it for around 2 years of continuous running.

This pump from Amazon lasted only 9 months
The Little Giant Warranty is for two years. Previously ordered Little Giant Pumps have meet this expectation. This pump from Amazon not last even half as long. The Little Giant Warranty indicates that the product should be returned to the point of purchase. It seems that the Amazon return period is only 30 days. This is not anywhere long enough to cover a product with a long Warranty period. Caveat emptor!

SEEMS ADEQUATE
SEEMS TO BE WORKING PROPERLY. CONCERNED THAT IT SHUTS OFF AUTOM EVERY 3-5 HRS. CANNOT DETERMINE WHY MOTOR SHOULD OVERHEAT RESULTING IN SHUT DOWN. OLD PUMP, SAME TYPE, DID NOT DO THIS EXCEPT WHEN POND /WATERFALL LEVEL LOW CAUSING PUMP TO OVERHEAT.

worked like a champ 24/7 for 1 1/2 seasons
bought in july of 2016 for my pressure filter/waterfall. worked like a champ 24/7 for 1 1/2 seasons. basically 12 months. after that dead as fried chicken..Got n email into the manufacturer well see how it goes.. seems like im with the rest of the crowd. A real good company gone bad.little giant used to be a high quality pump. now im not so sure. For the money ud think it would last a little longer. sad reality.. guess its time to research a new brand.
