If you have the old model Philips hue light strips, this adapter allows you to create a fork from the controller so you can run two (or more) strips from a single controller. Beware, if you have the newer hard wired philips hue light strips, this will not be compatible with them so make sure you check your controller before buying this to avoid disappointment.

Far too expensive
These are far too expensive. I’ve had to buy 3-4 of this brands accessories and it really hurts the wallet. These shouldn’t cost £20

Rubbish, Expensive for what they are and the 6pin connector doesn't work with the Philips Hue connections. they fit in the slot, but do not transfer power.

I have used this as solution to connect the old strip extensions to a new lightstrip, it works fine but you need to connect first the extensions and then the core strip which may be counter intuitive.

Ottimo prodotto, utile quando si deve "modificare" gli attacchi di alimentazione della lightstrip, ad esempio per fare passare il cavo dell'alimentazione attraverso una forassite, perchè purtroppo i cavi verso l'alimentatore sono saldati e l'unica soluzione è tagliarli e ricollegarli con questo prodotto diventa facilissimo! Consigliato

Bought this because I got a 5$ v4 hue strip and wanted to attempt to combine this with a v3 base. I had the small extension cable that came with the hue strip. Considering the micro pin did not fit in the micro pin header of the litcessory extension, I gutted open the hue extension, removed the pin support plastic, stretched pins a bit and connected it. LO AND BEHOLD: IT WORKS!! So again, do not try this at home if you are uncomfortable with DIY projects. Just know that pin headers between v3 and v4 are still aligned, so as long as you find a way to bridge the two, you'll be able to extend it just fine. THANKS LITCESSORY! Even though that's not what your product is used for
