ISDT FD-200 Smart Discharger - 200W 25A Wireless APP Control for Safe and Efficient Discharging of 2-8S LiPo Batteries

It's nice to get all you lipo batteries down to storage levels before leaving the field. Obvious thing to say, but this discharges, so it will only reduce battery voltage. Great bit of kit.

Really easy hassle free discharger, Definitely worth using the app you can customise the amps and cell voltage to suit you, also with the app you can turn off the auto start discharge that the unit comes with as a default setting, When updating the unit, it say’s disconnect battery, how ever if you don’t have a battery connected the unit has no power to update , Completely happy with it, one last thing I found was if you discharge at high amps to say 3.8v per cell when the discharge is completed the standing voltage rises by around 0.5v. So I just set the discharge to 3.75v/cell , then when rested it slowly works it way up to 3.8v/cell

Really useful for discharging high capacity lipo,s not flown but would not respect cut off voltage set in app, 3.8v is default lower than I normally use. Carried out repair function that appears to remove smart function and now I can set cutoff as required . Have used with series wired pairs (2x4s) 8s flight packs without issue

It's such an old model you can't get the app on playstore anymore they use isd link now,you can get the apk for it if you search but it wouldn't connect to my phones so have returned

Initial impressions are good.The product looks well built and discharged 10 batteries 2-3-4 cell LiPos very quickly and hassle free. I downloaded the app but it appears to monitor functions only-whats the point? Then the pretty fragile cell selection button failed! The discharger was replaced promptly and at present the two buttons function. The instructions fail to point out a vital point!~you must sequentially manually select the cell pack size! IE my dischargers automatically go to the last pack discharged so if that was a 4 cell pack and you want to discharge a 2 cell pack you must manually cycle through options 5-6-7 to get back to 2! This is a weakness in the design that needs to be remedied.

Being able to take fully charged LiPo down to storage voltage in a few mins is a great time saver. Although it's 'only' 200W remember that 6S packs will only be able to charge at 8A. 3S can discharge at 18A, so you can get them down to storage in a matter of minutes. Very impressed.

Buen descargador de baterías lipo. lo único que el manual es muy escueto. Hay que tener cuidado con el equilibrado de los elementos, ya que el descargador no tiene conexión con el equilibrador de la batería.

Wie schon der Titel sagt, ist solch ein Entlader aus meiner Sicht unverzichtbar. Jeder, der mit (RC-) Lipos zu tun hat, sollte wissen, dass man die Akkus nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum mit 4,2 Volt pro Zelle lagern sollte. Und genau da kommt dieser Entlader ins Spiel. Ladegeräte besitzen zwar meist auch einen Lager- bzw. Entlademodus, aber warum heißen die wohl LADEgeräte? Weil sie genau das am besten können...aufladen. Die meisten Lader schaffen beim Entladen halt nicht mehr als 15 Watt, was bei größeren Akkus meist mehrere Stunden Wartezeit bedeutet. Das größte Problem dabei ist natürlich die Wärmeentwicklung bzw. -abfuhr. Wer sein Ladegerät also schonen möchte, sollte mit diesem keinesfalls entladen, sondern lieber noch etwas Geld in die Hand nehmen und sich einen Entlader besorgen. Diese Geräte sind nur dafür konzipiert, dem Akku möglichst schnell und effizient Energie (in Form von Wärme) entziehen zu können. Dafür sind sie mit leistungsstarken, aber meist auch lauten Lüftern ausgestattet. So wie der FD 200. Wer also sensibel ist, was Lautstärke betrifft, der sollte beim Entladen vielleicht nicht direkt daneben sitzen. Man muss halt Kompromisse eingehen. Der große Pluspunkt ist nun mal die Entladeleistung von bis zu 200 Watt, mit der vollgeladene Akkus (je nach Zellenanzahl und Kapazität) in ca. 15-20 Minuten auf Lagerspannung (3,8 Volt pro Zelle) gebracht werden können. Das ist ein enormer Unterschied zu dem, was Ladegeräte schaffen. Die Verarbeitung und die Haptik des FD-200 sind sehr gut, das Teil wirkt hochwertig. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist die App, die hin und wieder mal abstürzt. An sich ist sie aber brauchbar, damit lassen sich diverse feinere Einstellungen vornehmen (Spannung, Ampere etc.) . Also kein Abzug dafür.

Je l'utilise surtout pour décharger mes batteries DJI Avata lorsqu'elles sont en erreur (ce qui arrive généralement à chaque sortie d'hiver, lorsque je les ai chargées-déchargées tous les mois mais sans m'en servir). Couplé à un mobile, je peux descendre les batteries à 10% facilement, sans avoir à mettre mon drone en stationnaire pendant 20mn. La décharge sur une batterie en stockage dure environ 30mn. 40mn si elle est full. Par contre, le ventilateur fait un sacré boucan ! Pour les batteries DJI Avata, j'utilise un cable xt-60 femelle/xt-30 mâle. Je branche l'xt-30 sur la batterie en respectant la polarité (on voit les fils en soulevant la languette de la prise sur la batterie). L'xt-30 se branche sans soucis. Bien respecter les poses d'au moins 30mn après la décharge, et après la recharge complète avant d'utiliser les batteries de nouveaux pour bien réinitialiser la mesure de la batterie (cf notice). Pour les autres batteries, fait le taf, mais fait tellement de bruit qu'un chargeur/déchargeur silencieux standard suffit si on a un peu de temps pour le faire.
